I've actually been pretty pleased with this years baseball considering we only have one guy who is not active. That's pretty good for what we have dsplayed over the last couple years. With that said, I really don't want bums and i don't want to feel like I have to put my own cash on the line to make people interested every year.

There is more than 1 team who isn't active. Walden's Beard and Dream Team stopped playing, 1 still posts here regularly so he has the free time to set his lineup. 20% of the baseball league is BUMS!

I can't wait for Matt Kemp to return after the All-Star Break. I feel like I'm an active manager, but these damn injuries are destroying my team's chances. You guys are really good at fantasy baseball. Not so much when it comes to FF.

Be aware that the draft is in 18 days so you will get almost no training camp info. You'll pretty much be drafting based on cheat sheets made by "experts" and most people's teams will be altered between the date of the draft and week 1 due to injuries and lost TC battles. A perfect example of this is Adrian Peterson. Where he goes on draft day and where he would go in a draft made a few days before the start of the season will probably be totally different.

I actually like the aspect of the early draft. It should present teams with less roster certainty which should foster an atmosphere of high trade activity. Not enough trades going down in our baseball league.

It probably means Josh will take chances at the draft, those chances won't pan out and he'll finish out of the playoffs again. He's put together a winner in baseball so I've started stocking up on foods that can survive nuclear holocaust.

I've been able to work out trades with multiple teams and have had good negotiations with some other teams that didn't work out but were good discussions.
