I am just curious what kind of top 6 can we get with this package?

when I look at all these players they are all NHL ready that would be good depth moves and with montreal having so much depth in defense they can offend to trade two of them to get a top 6 guy
here is the players I looked at that would work with us

Kris Versteeg (with florida having so many great prospects they can offend to trade him with the right price)
Brandon Saad (I know we would have to add a little)
Nino Niederreiter (with the Islander needing so depth on defense they got a good top 4 this trade would put them over the top on defense)
I don't see the point in putting Weber and Diaz in the same package. *If* there's a team out there looking for an undersized depth PMD (and in reality, most teams have a prospect/suspect of their own in this category), then they certainly aren't going to be interested in picking up TWO of them.
I also don't see how Saad or Niederreiter qualify as top-6 forwards. Hopefully they will be one day. But if we want to just try to shoe-horn a prospect into the role, we don't need to try to trade for somebody, we could just use one of our own guys.

Diaz and Weber aren't going to put anyone 'over the top' on defence, otherwise you wouldn't be so desperate to get rid of them.
The answer to what kind of top six player you can get with the kind of assets you are offering is one that no-one wants. Think overpaid underacheiving reclamation project.
Maybe his goal is to have a first page of just his threads?
And no team will trade a top-6 forward for those players listed, package or not.

Also, both Diaz & Geoffrion are not signed. So really really really unlikely someone will part with a top-6 forward for them. Unless someone mistakenly thinks Blake can produce as much as his grandfather or great-grandfather.

But Montreal's spare parts are worth so much more then any other team's spare parts. I mean Montreal can surely get a legitimate top-6 forwards with hands of gold, scores 25 goals guaranteed, built like a tank & hits everything in sight for Y. Weber on the trade market without hesitation.
