^^^ Plus, I love Spezza, and thought (going into the 2007 draft) Kyle Turris was the best player and want to see him succeed.

Also, Winnepeg.

East: Pens (tho cooling on them in recent years), Senators.

West: Sharks, Kings, and anyone playing the Nucks, Stars, Ducks or Wings in the playoffs.

East team is Caps, no discussion about that. I also sympathize Bruins.

Teams that I can't stand? Habs & Wings.

Philly is #2, I dig the jerseys and history, and are always fun to watch. Plus, Giroux is probably my favorite non-Wild. And the Kings are #3. I just happen to like a lot of their players(Kopitar,Richards,Carter,Doughty) and because they were my preseason pick to win the cup.. And they made me look good!

Canes and Calgary, although Feaster is quickly destroying all of my Calgary symphaties. I mean just go full rebuild anymore, don't overpay for every free agent who bothers to respond to your calls so you won't have an excuse not to trade Kipper and Iginla!

Canes would be my east team, love Jeff Skinner. I don't think I've watched Hurricanes game where he has not scored, its weird like that. He even scored when I went to watch Canada-Slovakia. The whole arena was cheering for Slovakia (me included) so my SKINNEEEEERRRR shout was tad awkward and left alone. Sure the finnish trio is big part of my 'Canes symphaties, but Skinner, Staal and Ward add alot to that too, now that I don't really even care about pulling for players/teams because of their nationality.

After the Wild, Coyotes (I live in Phoenix) and then the Ducks. Now there's a first.

The Wild are by far my favorite team, but I also like the Caps, Hawks, and Blues.

I like the Caps because they're exciting and have Matt Hendricks. My father-in-law coached Matt for his entire youth through bantams and he played with my brother-in-law, so it's cool to see him succeed.

I like the Hawks, because my dad is from Northern Wisconsin and grew up loving the Hawks. Espo is his fave player of all time.

I like the Blues, because mom is from Missouri, and I wrote for them for a short time on this website.

The teams I hate are all the other ones, especially Detroit, because my dad is from Northern Wisconsin and grew up loving the Hawks and hating the Red Wings. If re-alignment happens, I'll have to rethink my affinity for the Hawks and Blues as they'll be our rivals.

It should happen, the rivalry would be epic.

This is what it was when i was a kid and North Stars was my team.

1986–1992

Chicago Blackhawks
Detroit Red Wings
Minnesota North Stars
St. Louis Blues
Toronto Maple Leafs

Hurricanes (mainly due to Tuomo Ruutu I must admit) and Ducks, but only as long as Selänne plays there.

Canucks: Not a fan of the team but my dad, my relatives, and anyone they know are all Canucks fans. Alot of Asians in BC...

Jets: Can't hate them at all, alot of passion and they have an underrated team. They remind me a little bit of the Wild.

After Wild, my second favourite is the Ducks (I'm a Finn, I love Selänne). I also like the Jets, now even more because they signed Olli Jokinen (he is one of my favourite players).

Florida Panthers.
I love the underdogs and I was so hyped when Florida actually had some success this year.

I've always liked Buffalo. Their blue non-Buffaslug jerseys are pretty sweet and they are another good US Fanbase which I can always respect.

Also like the Jets for most of the same reasons. Feel like they got the same kind of retribution that we did by getting a team back.

This ^^^

Also they are an underrated, and overlooked team, much like us. And I dig the proximity vibe of them being so close.

My second favorite team is San Jose since I was a big fan of Igor Larionov, Owen Nolan, and former Badgers (Gary Suter, Tony Granato) and Detroit was my third. San Jose was my favorite team until the Wild came into the league. The Wild are often televised in Wisconsin which is how I became a Wild fan.

I was a big Blackhawks fan growing up in Minnesota up until the Wild showed up. Still dig the Hawks to this day. I also like Kopitar a lot, so the Kings get some support from me as well. It's kind of hard not to when they're the local team, heh. I like the Ducks less for obvious reasons (playoffs against Minnesota) but I do love Selanne. It's so hard to hate the guy.

Blues because I pull for Backes as he was at Mankato the same time as me.

I always try to trade for him in the NHL games...

I am still waiting (and probably always will) for The Whalers to come back to Hartford...but besides the Wild I really just follow players from CT..not really teams!

Jets #1, Wild #2. Mind you, it's a close #2 but being that Winnipeg's my hometown, the Jets are my first love.
