Jeez, I remember when Howse was a sure thing. He has dropped like a rock.

Coda Gordon.

EDIT: Hit Howse by accident.

Bouma. Although it's essentially a wasted vote.

Looking down this flame list... There seems to be some NHLers... No real big impact ones however.
Outside of Sven

Aliu, he is a gritty and has the potential to be a top 9 player.

Ramage then Bouma or Howse, although I think Bouma could be classified as graduated, so probably Howse.

I think if Bouma makes the team then he will be classified as graduated but for now I would still call him a prospect as he has only played 43 games in the nhl over the last 2 years.

I don't know. It also has to do with the sudden depth of NHL prospects the Flames have managed to acumulate.

However, we are getting to the spot that he should be in. No way guys like Coda Gordon should be ahead of him.

As we have seen, things can change quickly. If he has a 20-30 goal season next year, he will likely jump into the top 10-15 again.

Ramage? Dont see what makes Ramage different from a guy like Leach, who the Flames didn't bother offering a contract to. I wouldn't be surprised if Ramage weren't offered a contract either. I'd rather sign a FA college defensemen for a year or two (ala Lamb) than give Ramage a full three year ELC.

Byron's fallen a little too much. If he was a Flames draftee (and not traded in a deal for Regehr), he'd likely be a fair bit higher.

I think you forgot how hard everyone was up for Ortio to. Pretty sure he was like 8th last year.

Feaster is pretty high on Ramage, and I don't think he is anything like Leach. He has great leadership qualities and is down right nasty.

Yeah everyone (including myself) was pretty high on him until he came to the AHL and just couldn't play well.

What player and aspect of this organization isn't Feaster high on? It's been said before, but the guys can sell ice to Eskimos.

I hope I'm wrong about Ramage.

What's the knock on Leach? Was he just too small/not physical enough to make it pro? How good was his hockey IQ?

All I know Ramage could be a physical shut down D...something we've been missing bad since Regehr.

I consider him "graduated" and no longer a prospect.

So went with Ramage.

He is a mean physical defensive defenseman with great leadership qualities he looks to be a poor mans Grossmann, he is hard to play against and rarely gets beaten defensively. Leach simple doesn't have that nasty edge to his game nor does he have great leadership capabilities he looks to be a lesser version of Pardy.
