O'Brien still.

I'm curious though - why are people picking Hoffman over the younger and more offensively-gifted Petersson?

Because he's more likely to pan out, with a lot of people feeling like he can step in already.

I don't see why though. They are both small players who are likely to make the NHL only if they impress in a scoring role. Petersson had a higher PPG in the AHL last season, lit up the World Juniors twice, and is the younger of the two.

Hoffman is not small at all anymore and plays a better 2way game by all accounts. At last years camp he was listed at 6'1, 172lbs.

Picked the supposed 1st round pick Maidens. Was between him n Hoff. Feel Maidens will rebound from injury to show why he was slotted to go high in the draft originally

5'11" and 176lbs as per TheAHL.com. He is also a combined -40 over the past 2 seasons.

Not saying I'm right but here he's listed as 6'1 as I said.

http://www.silversevensens.com/2011/...p-mike-hoffman

I'd heard from people that he's at least 6'0 so it'd be nice if we could get confirmation on it.
