Right next door to Annandale. Didn't know it was hit. Seems like older neighborhoods with mature trees seem to get hit hardest (like my parents).

Ugh need thread reboot.
With the hurricane last year we lost power for about 14 hours, the one in 2003(?) was a day and a half. In my neighborhood most houses are 50 - 60 years old and just about everyone has at least 1 or 2 mammoth trees on their property. Nowhere near this much damage with those hurricanes or even those snowstorms a few years back.

edit: I think one of the main problems is that people don't maintain their trees. If people did I'm not sure we would have lost power since trees were the reason (or so it appears)

Just got back from the Hockey Hall. Cooperstown it isn't, but still nice. Sad that two of the main Caps sweaters are from Schultz (WC one) and Jurcina (Caps team stuff)

Well she is a good influence on him if you ask me. Tennis demands great lateral movement and that was Ovechkins strength at one point in time, oh how I miss him doing what he does at the beginning of this video:

Depressing myself.

Yeah, Ovechkin is really getting some great lateral movement by sitting in the stands.

Looks like it was a battle. "Agnieszka Radwanska toughed out a 75 46 75 victory over former doubles partner Maria Kirilenko."

Currently ranked 19th in the world for women's singles. Pretty good. Win Loss Record - Singles:17 - 13

Delta is awful. 4+ hour wait and complete debacle. Get on the plane, "navigation issue will be patched in a short while". 2 hours later on the plane at the gate "uh, yeah sorry, you can get off for a while" (few quick just a bit more messages before). Then we get called back on after 3 hours. I overhear that it wasn't just the navigation, but a few other things. We get on, wait, take off, and then the stewardess gets on crying "I'm so sorry, sniffle (minute pause) static. Tear, you can turn on your cell phones but you won't get a signal. There is wifi. Cry. Click" silence.

Bunch of people freaking out.

Just an awful experience

My friend said Delta stands for Don't Ever Leave The Airport.

If that Dwight Howard trade goes down, it's going to be hard for me to follow basketball anymore.

I went to find out the details of this, but I was more shocked about Nash being a Laker.
