Way OT: Andrew Peters golf taunt

Link

Saw this midway down the videos page on hockeyfights.com, thought I would post it just in case you guys hadn't seen it.

It's basically Andrew Peters of the Buffalo Sabres mocking the Maple Leafs by doing golf impersonations, reminding them where they will be while the playoffs are happening.

Thought it was rather amusing, especially since we are normally the ones having golf jokes made about us.

I saw it too, that is great, even though I hate Buffalo and like Toronto. Sorry TO guys.

I liked O'Neill's quote much better

something like "my dad has a better shot at getting into a playoff game than he does"

Who does peters think he is? He isn't even good enough to call himself a mediocre player.

If Colton Orr did that, we all would on the floor with aching bellies at how funny it would be!!!

C'mon! THIS was brilliant... Yeah!

The guy on one of the Canadian channels was like

"That's pathetic. That's unacceptable. What does Andrew Peters think he's doing? His backswing is not nearly long enough and his stance is all wrong. This guy doesn't know how to golf at all."

I try as hard as I can to hate the Sabres with a passion. This doesn't help.

I agree. And I didn't think it was terribly clever.

You know, it was funny as hell, but hockey players just don't usually pull that show-one-up crap and leave it to the football and basketball players...I kinda lik it like that...But it was funny....Luckily there wasn't another gme between the two teams left..

I'd love to know why you get thrown out of the game for that. Come on.

They prefer to throw him out than sweep up his remains. Plus it WAS misconduct.

The Leafs fans are supporting us, so you can't say that. Besides, I'd rather be a Leafs fan than a Sabres fan. I hate that team with a passion.
