Like I mentioned earlier, I don't have a problem with those two getting the A's. However, I would hope that Heatley and Cullen were notified about it. It's easy to say they probably wouldn't care, but it's a respect thing. It looks bad when you sign these guys, and then give them the letters before they've even hit the ice and met their teammates. Some guys take pride in those letters, and it could ruffle the feathers a bit by learning that you lost your letter by watching the press conference on tv or the internet. Even if they'd be more than willing to hand the letters over, it's just respectful to talk to the other guys first.

BTW, LaPanta sucks. How many times did those poor guys get asked the same freaking questions? It was embarrassing. Yeah, the guys are friends, and they wanted to play on the same team. But give it a rest. You'd think they're our own version of the Sedin twins.

I didn't, wild.com stream sucked so I watched Starstribune's.

Like I said already, I PROMISE you they already talked to them FIRST. In fact, there isn't a reason to think they didn't talk to Heatley and Cullen first. It's not how these things happen. Fletcher or Yeo personally called them to talk about the situation. If you thought differently, as in they didn't talk to them before hand, I would say you are taking extremely bad odds on that gamble.

We need to get Russo on the trail to see if he can figure out how this all went down.

As for the thread on the main board, it's in serious need of some bleach.

I'm sure they were talked to before Parise and Suter got the As.

If they talked to the guys or not doesn't really matter to me. It won't change the dynamic of the team. We brought in two guys with high character which will bring more accountability to the room.

Combine that with the kids knocking at the door and we'll have a motivated bunch of guys on the ice this season. I'm getting pretty friggin excited for this season to start.

I don't see it listed anywhere though so how am I suppose to know when it's going to be on?

Edit: Nevermind, I'm sure that hour long Wild Live tomorrow morning at 7 must be it.

Flyers fan coming in peace, I wasn't surprised Suter and Parise both got "A"'s I was wondering if the Wild were still going to roll with like 3-4 "A"'s I think the Habs used to have 4 "A"'s and I think a bunch of teams have 3, again I'm so stoked the Wild landed both these guys, as a Flyers fan I've seen a ton of Parise kid is all class and heart, hard a hell to play against, good luck with the upcoming season!!!!

nah, as others have said (even in the main board thread): these guys are high profile veteran players locked up for over a decade.

no issue with both of them getting letters, its not like we have people stepping up for those spots. all was fine and dandy when koivu was playing but he went down and leadership fizzled, these guys comited here and i think its a sign that matches to what they promised to bring

He also got asked some really bad questions.
