With the signing of Halpern, Pyatt and Asham, in addition to Boyle, the Rangers now have four 4th line players. It's so obvious that Rupp and/or Boyle is the player no one has brought up yet...
Seriously, I can't think of anyone outside of the 4th line who HASN'T been brought up. Hagelin hasn't really been mentioned officially, has he? Just speculated on here. Could it be him?
Joking of course, but can you imagine if Brian ****ing Boyle was the deal breaker? I'd die laughing.
Apparently, this Greg Caggiano broke the 3rd jersey news a couple of years ago before anyone else according to a post on his twitter page from another poster.
Saw the link and it was just him bringing up the speculation.
Don't know what to make of this.
I just checked if this is true, and it is. Even Icethetics.info says that he's the one who first reported that.

Kid has talent and potential, and could step right into CBJ's top-6.
And he's your prototypical anti-thesis of a typical Russian, so the worries that he's like Zherdev or Filatov can be thrown out the window.
He does have the same kind of personality/rep as Tyutin. I wonder if that would explain the "makes a lot of sense" comment, since Tyutin has done well in CBus.
Hasn't AA been mentioned before though? I tend to think AA is more expendable than Dubinsky, but would AA be taking Dubi's place in the deal or in addition? Either way, I STILL hope the deal doesn't go through. I have serious doubts about Nash's ability to be what some folks around here are hoping he can be.
All of this Nash talk is distracting everyone from the real goal - bringing Michal Grosek out of retirement.
Grosek!? Screw that. This team needs more leadership. Let's sign whatever's left of Mike Keane and Brian Skrudland. Just make sure Pat LaFontaine gets out of the way this time.
Pfft, they would never want them. They want Art Coulter and Bryan Hextall.
Nah, they'll take Nick Fotiu and Ted Irvine. As long as Irvine comes with a Chris Jericho signed WWE poster. Dad's gotta hook 'em up with the Y2J goods.

I think the deal ends up looking like Dubinsky, Anisimov, prospect (maybe Miller) and 1st. Could end up being Boyle in place of Nash, but I think Anisimov is the more obvious fit and considering he has untapped offensive potential, I think Anisimov is a better fit for Columbus.
Fair deal for Nash, considering the circumstances, if you ask me.
A player nobody has talked about? Boyle fits that and would make sense given the Halpern signing. Dubi/Boyle wouldn't be enough. Maybe MDZ goes with him? They were best buds here, but I thought CLB didn't need d-men.
What about Zucc? He was never talked about and still has a bit of value.
Dubi, Boyle, Zucc, Prospect, 1st?
That looks like an awful proposal for a player like Nash, lol. Perhaps another fleecing by Sather?
Either way, let's see if this guy has a legit source. He seems 100% confident on this and doesn't seem like the type to just make something like this up.

That's a damn All-Star team. I see no need for Nash.
