I just got a call from my rep about upgrading to seasons. I had a partial plan last year so I must have been at the top of the list. There was nothing available in the $50-53 price range but there were some pairs and singles available for $73. The first pair I tried to buy was already taken by the time my rep could reserve them for me so it sounds like they're moving pretty fast

I don't think there was anything available but I don't know for sure. The only availability she mentioned in the upper bowl was $73

Just call them now and try to get something. Maybe you'll get lucky, and if not, at least you know what kind of availability there is.

I initially tried to get a pair in 222 row 5 but they were gone by the time my rep tried to reserve them for me. After that the best she could do for a pair was in 226 row 11 or 227 row 9 which was higher up and at the end where the rangers only shoot once. I asked her what singles they had available and ended up taking one in 220 row 3. Really excited to have full seasons this year

That seems quite odd.

You guys really don't think they leave a few seats for new subscribers?

That's what I was told on the phone but when I told my rep I wanted to take it, the system wouldn't allow her to reserve it so maybe there was some mix-up

There are plenty of new seats for new subscribers. When the Rangers are going good you usually have to spend a season in the lower bowl then move during the normal upgrade process. This concept is so simple but it seems like many potential new STH,s don,t understand this. This team should be a contender for the rest of the decade barring a catostropic injury to the King.

Call them up and add your name to the list. You may have to put down a small deposit. Then wait. Really you'll need some luck. That said, you could try calling up just before and then again just after the season starts. It's always possible that some seats open up for whatever reason. You never know, you could get lucky. Otherwise, the easier way is to follow Bickel41's advice above. Spend a season in the lowers and then move back the following summer.

Chances are you won't get anything this year if you haven't already put a deposit down, but maybe you could pick up seats in the lower bowl and sell a majority of them to make some money back. Then you could try and move upstairs next season.

You really dont have any options because of the new Gallery seating, make sure you get all the info before you send in a deposit.

I inquired about Knicks tickets today and I was told I had to put down 250.00 per seat and if I requested Upper bowl, they could offer me anything including front row for $150 each and if I didnt take them I would lose my deposit. I told him I would be willing to take anything in the 200's except the gallery seats. He told me that based on the demand for the Rangers those galllery seats are "Hot" right now and probably wont even be available. I told him that when I tried to get more Rangers tickets, only the front row was available so they arent as hot as he thinks they are.

It is terrible that they can take a deposit from someone expecting to pay no more than $95.00 for the most expensive upper seats on the Knicks seat chart and stick them with $150.00 seats and keep the non-refundable deposit. If I wasnt a Rangers STH, I would never have known that this could happen.

I think the $150 front row in the 3 center sections were hot. They sold out almost immediately. The ones that are not "hot" are the $125 ones on the corners and behind the net. Some of those are still available.

I agree with the Rep that the $150 front row center seats for the knicks will be gone almost immediately.

Hey, so i'm kinda new here, and am hoping you guys can help.

I put down the deposit a few weeks back on season tickets ($500 for 2 seats) and my rep called me today. He said taht the only thing available is the $125 seats with the TV in front of you.

Couple of questions... is he just trying to get me to spend more on the $125 tickets, or is there really nothing else available?

Why are there TVs in front of the $125 seats? Are they obstructed views, so they put the TV there to compensate? or is it just a nice amenity?

How is demand for reselling tickets in this general price range during the season? I definitely won't be able to make 40 games, so will I be able to sell these $125 tickets and get my $$ back?

Thanks in advance!

Don't think he is lieing to you I'm pretty sure those are the cheapest avaible seats left in the upper bowl

And twice tv is there because it is row one and it's just a nice feature for you seats there isn't an obstructed view

Don't know on availability but it wouldn't shock me if that's all that was available. The TV's are there just as an amenity. The row 1 $150/$125 seats have the personal TV's and extra leg room which is why they cost extra. I'd imagine row 1's may be a tough sell because of the steep price decreases from row 1 to row 2 and back. It goes from $125 to $79 then to $73 for the rest of the section for the most part.

When did you put a deposit down? I put one down almost 4 months ago. Didn't get a call yet.
