If by contraction you mean acronym, yes I agree. Good times.

If by contraction you mean the results of the pregnancies you apparently created, not good times.

An abbreviation is a shortening by any method; a contraction is a reduction of size by the drawing together of the parts. A contraction of a word is made by omitting certain letters or syllables and bringing together the first and last letters or elements; an abbreviation may be made either by omitting certain portions from the interior or by cutting off a part. A contraction is an abbreviation, but an abbreviation is not necessarily a contraction.
that right there reminds me of the whole is Dupuis top-six material debate.

how much do guys usually lose throughout the season? If he's 6'1 then 207 seems like an ideal weight for him in the pros.

Fair to say that he's bulked up then.

Most of them have been posted in the free agency thread already, but http://twitter.com/PensInsideScoop is a great source for quotes.

Tangradi just posted this on his Eric "Big Dog" Tangradi facebook page.

Standout for team 1 at Pens prospect camp: Matia Marcantuoni. Beau Bennett obviously has elite skill also. Nick D'Agostino impressed as well

I just get the image of Uher standing next to the net while everyone else is skating around and shooting pucks in, pulling them out, and then shooting them in again.

Also, is Matia the really fast guy?

Josh Archibald wins the shootout for practice group 2. No real standouts this frame. Morrow with great skating. Dominik Uher has a cannon.

I just have the feeling that Matia guy is going to be something big for the Pens. His tweets sounded genuine and his talent is unquestionable.

Cannot wait to see this guy down the road.

call it an affectation but i love hearing about prospects that have been largely written off:

Eric Majeski ‏@LGP_netwolf
Alex Velischek looks pretty solid. Pretty good skater, nice wrist shot.

Same here man, I kept an eye on him last season and I was so excited when the Pens picked him. Hopefully he can stay healthy. Also from the sounds of it, they're pretty impressed with Bennett.

Just check this out, his talent is unquestionable. http://thehockeywriters.com/matia-ma...olt-of-hockey/

Uher sounds impressive as well. Exciting times.

Bobby Mac thought he was top 10 talent for the 2012 draft, until the injuries set in for him. If he stays healthy, this guy could be a real steal in the draft at #92.

Gotta love the Morrow interview...

On his hair: "yah ya know my Mom and sister called me a pretty boy and said [I didn't have the balls] to grow my hair out so I did. Now I don't know what to do with it." Love this kid's character / the fact that he's got a sense of humor even with the media. Another in a powerful line of Joes. Eager to see him on this team next year.
