this would be exciting/dissapointing (depends who you ask here lol), if it was columbus gm.
nash would be crazy to not have san jose on his short list of teams he will waive his no trade clause to. so him being in town means nothing.
Yah, but why would he be here?
We would not be negotiating a future contract.
We are already verified to be on his list (so we are not convincing him to add us).
Seems odd... We'd have to get permission to talk to Nash from CBJ, and why would we do that unless a deal was basically done? We don't need to sell ourselves to Nash...

This is that I was thinking too.
Unless Howsen sent Nash over to let DW know ... Couture or nothing!
It could mean nothing, or it could have been that he made a mistake and it wasn't Nash. So ya, take it as you will.
I only kind of believe it because I'm so convinced we will trade for Nash. If he's here I expect it's either because a deal is done (and they want him here for the announcement) or because the deal is nearly done and he wanted to check out the area.

you do realize he does have friends on the sharks roster to right? nash being in san jose is not a big deal, its just a rich guy wanting to go to a different city for a vacation.
if nash was seen at the arena coming out of one of the offices (if ofc wilson and his staff have there every day offices in the arena), now that would be fishy. but seeing nash just walking around down town san jose is no big deal.

Totally the most likely situation. I don't think I could pick Nash out in a crowd and I'm super good with faces and follow hockey religiously. Hockey players should just wear their jerseys everywhere, would make things so much easier.
So basically DW is getting Weber, Nash, and Doan. Good news, everyone!
Why? There's some bomb ass food on Castro.
