He'll score you some goals next year that will make you think he is a sniper in disguise. They are few and far between but he will surprise you. Good luck BJ!

This clears some room out at winger. Also gives the Blues a bit more cap room.

Good luck in Tampa, Crombeen!

Not a bad deal for either side. I wonder if this is an attemt to clear a little cap room for a new addition...hopefully on defense.

Damn. I was hoping Phoenix would make a move for Crombeen. We need a guy who can take a regular shift and also fight when called upon. We've got Chipchura but he's a little small for the role. Personally, I think Bissonnette is a decent hockey player, but Dave Tippett obviously disagrees because he NEVER plays him.

Pretty soon nobody is going to have a traditional goon. It's going to be nothing but Crombeens, Neils, Prusts, Mike Browns, Matt Martins, and Tim Jackmans.

Happy to add some grit. We needed it. Also happy to have a guy named BJ on our team.

Good trade for both teams. The Lightning has needed NHL bodies for sure, especially for the bottom 6. Crombeen's a pretty decent 4th liner. The picks aren't much of a price to pay. The Blues really needed to trade a winger though and Reaves made Crombeen expendable.

It seems Crombeen is very well-liked and does a lot of community stuff off the ice, so adding character is always a plus.

Good addition for Tampa. Crombeen is a good 4th liner.

I would have hated this deal if we hadn't re-signed Langs. At least we save some salary and pick up a couple picks. Good luck to Crombeen and I think Tampa will like him.

Good fit for Tampa, they need some character grit players on their bottom 6

Definitely going to be a big help for them considering the lack of grind but sucks to see him go.

Crombeen's a solid fourth line player. Very happy with the time he spent here. Seems like a good guy. The two fourths might eventually turn into something, but more than likely this is just a salary dump. Just don't need to pay so many wingers. Good for Tampa and good for Crombeen. Hopefully he'll get to play full time in Tampa.
