I like Lazar and all, but the kid is getting too much love...
I don't think he's good enough for a top 6 role, I do however think that hes capable for a bottom 6 role given his playing style, but I'm surprised that Duclair isn't penciled in on some people's roster, Duke is definitely capable of playing a checking role... Mind you Lazar has better hockey sense.. Which IMO matters more.
I wouldn't be surprised if Mike Matheson made it as a Murphy/Ellis guy....
Also Anthony Matha tore up the Q in the 2nd half, he has a pretty solid chance..
Someone said Fucale, I agree, he literally gets better with every day that goes by... It's ridiculous how much he has grown as a goalie.

Its always the same, this time of year we peg 17 year olds easily making this team. Yet we all know how hockey canada is. The following is as realistic as a roster as I could come up with. I will make the exception for MacKinnon as with the bigger ice he may be more valuable to the team then a big 19yr old grinder. I also had extra forwards and an extra dman and a 3rd goalie for honourable mentions.
For people leaving out Murphy, you must think it's because he'll be in the NHL because his coach (And biggest supporter) is the coach and there is no way if he's in the OHL that he'll leave him off unless he's hurt. You can be just about guarenteed if Murphy's available he'll be the number one defensemen as well.
i really think he and rielly because of last season have to be a little behind the others. if they prove early in the season that the injuries are behind them and their play is developing im sure one if not both get good long looks.

Yes, I left Murphy off because he almost made the NHL last season and I think he will make it this year. I disagree that he would be the top defenceman if he was on the team though. He doesn't have the best defensive game and there are guys like Hamilton and Dumba who have both offensive and shutdown capabilities.
What are the chances Canada takes home the gold and how good would you say this team is compared to teams in the past.
Doesn't look like an exceptional amount of talent but still good. I hope and expect Subban to not be the let down the goaltending has been the last three years.
Look for Kevin Roy, Lukas Sutter, and Laurent Brossoit to make serious pushes to make the team. For whatever reason HC does not like McNeill and Siemens so unless they have unbelievable seasons I do not see them making it.
