Tyler Bozak

What's his value, what would you give up for him?

I am interested in what his value is right now.

Give me players and prospects name that you would trade for him.

Raymond and a 2nd, or 2 2nds.

He could centre our 2-3 lines, and is still growing as a player. Would not mind having him at all.

I would do this deal from a Leafs perspective.

This was inevitable: Roberto Luongo. I think Bozak would be a great piece in such a deal.

How about Sam Gagner?

Leafs get back a younger, smaller version of Bozak with a bit more upside.

No thank you.

Don't think you'd get Luongo for MacArthur + Percy.

What would be Edmonton's incentive?

Bozak straight up for Gagner? I would do this from a Leafs perspective in a heartbeat.

I'd take out Raymond and added more of the leafs side.

Macarthur + Bozak + Percy + Greg Mckegg + 2013 2nd round pick.

It's Quantity, but I'd like to think that they're all decent pieces and not just spare parts.

Value-wise, this deal would be fine however, the Leafs are extremely weak down the middle. Toronto cannot deal Bozak before they get an upgrade.

Hate to disappoint Leaf fans, but he's little more than a younger version of D Moore. I doubt you'd get more than a 2nd and a 4th for him.

How about no...

I can see a team with weak center depth like Calgary giving up something like a 2nd and a B prospect, but that's about it

I will do the prototypical lef fan response to something that we shouldn't think twice about.

" Stewart is a player past his prime who doesn't play center and gets less points than Bozak. McRae is useless, we have 100 prospects better than him. MacWilliam is almost NHL ready, going to have to give value for him. That 4th will be like a late 3rd cause we are going to suck still after doing this trade. Pass."

*slow clap*

Nicely done.

Completely off-topic, but I absolutely loved how there recently was a proposal of Kessel+2nd for Crosby.
It was hysterical reading the same kind of logic to justify it.

Hehe, thanks.

I was joking about MacWilliam being NHL ready, to be honest I had no idea who he was before like 6 hours ago. Looked him up and it seems like he actually could be fairly solid in the NHL in a bottom pairing role. Stay at home physical defenseman. Players like him can may be able to have an NHL career if they are able to skate. Don't know if he can skate well or not though haha. 7th round pick so it was always a long shot, he may just become a bottom pairing/#7 depth guy in the future though. Still seems like a long way off so won't hold my breath for him haha.

He's serious. He just happens to be really down on Stewart and really high on MacWilliam. He probably also thinks that Bozak is a good fit as a second/third line center, so I can understand where he's coming from. Two assets that he doesn't view as being very useful for a piece that fills a need and a prospect he's really high on.

Personally, I wouldn't do that deal. I think Bozak has some upside still left untapped, but he didn't see very hard minutes last year, and wasn't very good at driving the play forward in the minutes he did see. On the other hand, he does do some things reasonably well and he would probably be a better option at 3rd line center than Steen. I wouldn't move Stewart for that upgrade, though.

I wouldn't move Bozak as of now, simply because his friendship with Kessel could end up being instrumental in re-signing Phil the Thrill. The Kessticle is a reserved guy. I think trading his best friend would leave a bad taste in his mouth re: the organization.
