Bridge = cool for the 200 people standing up there
Bridge = not cool for the 4000+ with it in their field of vision

garden is going to be much nicer for the average fan now and the building did need an update. all you complain about on the boards is cheap tickets. the rangers are a business first and need to maximize revenue, when are you gunna realize that?
glad I am not the only person who noticed. well, you know trueblue, the people that can afford the new prices are NOT the REAL FANS! REAL FANS can only afford prices from 1974.

Maybe you should go into it with an open mind. Maybe it won't bother any one. Virtual renderings are nice, but it's not showing the whole picture. If you hate it once you see it in front of you cool, but who knows, maybe you will like having those tvs in front of you.

My new seats are section 213, row 21. My rep who has always been straight with me has not been able to give me a definitive answer if the bridges will obstruct my view. That doesnt give me confidence.

I would bet money that it's not going to obstruct your view of the ice. The megatron and the other side of the arena, probably some what. But who cares about seeing the megatron any way? You will have the same information and video every one else does on the side of the walkway.

I don't really care if you guys hate it, I'm just saying it might not be as bad as you guys think. I generally try not to pass judgment until I see things for my self. I don't trust those virtual renderings. Being in construction, I see them quite often, and they usually only give you about 50% of what it looks like when it's done.

It's too bad that the interactive view doesn't include the bridges yet. Maybe they themselves don't know yet or don't want to scare off those who have seats up high.

Our seats are in row 15 and I think we're gonna have the scoreboard blocked by the bridges too. Just looking at different angles on the interactive seating chart, I think the cut off will be row 12 or 13. Just an educated guess though.

Why will they show the bridge in the interactive view for next season? The bridge won't be there for another year.

What? There's people on HF who sit in the lower bowl.. I'd consider them real fans. Unless you were being sarcastic, of course.

I don't see why they won't be on them. The bridge will have seats so they have to show the view from there.

I don't show my face much these days because of that 119 mark of Cain on my tickets. Fandom is about knowledge, emotion, and commitment - not ticket price.

According to the earthcam, as of July 5th, looks like more than half of the steel for the upper bowl has been put into place. I am sure it is completed by now.

If you look at the renderings and what has been done already they have been pretty accurate so far.

There's an interactive view for the 2013-14 season? If so, what's the link?

That's what I thought. Then what are people here talking about where they can't find the bridge in the interactive seating chart? It's not supposed to be in there.

People want to see what it looks like so they can pick the right seats this year and not get screwed next year when they have to renew.

it might not be there but its pretty easy to tell where the bridges will be when you're looking at the virtual seating chart

anyone with photoshop skills want to do a mock up from section 213? haha

Yes, I was being sarcastic. nyrmetros is constantly complaining about prices and how real fans have been priced out.

Visual renderings make the bridges look nice and unobstructive. I'm pretty sure the reality will actually be pretty awful for people in the $53 seats. Have you ever been to the top rows of the old Montreal Forum? I'm guessing most seats at the new garden up there will have a similar view. I also think that even rows as low as the single digits will be impacted
