He's lazy. But there always is the possibility to change your attitude. I mean, he needs to prove himself, otherwise he won't get another NHL contract next summer.
And IF he'll be willing to compete, he'll be on the best contract in the whole league.
Good luck to Wolski and the caps! Good signing!

More like the Hershey bears = Failed Ex-Avs. Stoa will be in Hershey, and if Wolski is indeed on a two-way contract he could very well be in Hershey as well.

I know Laich is normally a C/LW, so either he gets bumped to the third line or he's going to have to play on his off-wing on one of the top two lines.

That leaves the following as their bottom six forwards:

Hendricks-Johansson-Beagle
Ward-Perreault-Crabb

While the Caps have finally addressed their need to improve their center depth, adding another legitimate top six forward would really help their overall forward depth.
Jason Chimera says hello. A much more probable line-up is:
Ovechkin - Backstrom - Johansson
Brouwer - Ribeiro - Perreault
Chimera - Laich - Ward
Hendricks - Beagle - Crabb
Wolski

lol, waste of money. He will play well in his first two games, and then be useless for the rest of the season. Just as he did for the Rangers and Panthers.

Peter Mueller ended up not working out for the Avalanche, but that trade with Phoenix was still a win for Colorado.
Funny part is Phoenix shipped Wolski to the Rangers for Rozsival who ended up being the most effective of the three players.

At $600,000 no signing is stupid. Even if he was such a team cancer we had to buy him out. It's pretty much a free contract.

I have always liked Wolski, when he was in avs he was one of my favorites. Back then, all I wanted was to see him in my team.
And now, some years later it's happening. Can't say that i'm as excited now like I was then, but this signing can still be good!

Yeah that $600,000 will really be the difference in whether the Caps trade for Bobby Ryan or not. Backbreaker by GMGM breaking the piggy bank.

He's been working out with Gary Roberts. Let's see if that makes a difference for him

IMO,

Ovechkin-Backstrom-Laich
Wolski-Ribeiro-Brouwer
Ward-Johansson-Crabb
Chimera-Hendricks-Beagle

That's a really good deal for the Capitals. He can certainly be a good player so maybe he will have a rebound season. At 600k, you can't go wrong.

600k for a player that can be worth upwards of 4M

Capitals steal. Wolski must have been desperate for an offer.
