Getzlaf to Calgary. They will have the space, and have been forever looking for a centre. Plus he played WHL there.

didn't you hear... the real reason the Habs signed Prust was to land Perry next summer...

they are BFF after their "bash brothers" time together in London, Perry wanted to come back North next year, hates the leafs so had Prust decide btw Ottawa/Montreal. Prust picked montreal and the rest will be history

i can dream can't i?

Somehow I feel that they will drag on with their contract extension negotiations and by trade deadline they will become HF's 2013 version of Brad Richards with 2389473298472 trade proposals

Ducks will extend both, matching 7.25M contracts long-term.

IMO of course.

Interesting choice of "normal" seasons that are anything but normal for them.

Murray should have taken a page out of Shero's book with both players before the draft.

Higher cap-hits, shorter terms.

Probably something like 8 years, 9M AAV

Getzlaf
Perry
Beleskey
S-pelly
Ana 4th

Gunnarsson
Kessel
Rielly
Lupul
Kadri
Tor 1st

A blockbuster trade that would benefit both trades at the trade deadline of this year if Getzlaf and Pery don't want to stay in Anaheim.

Leafs say no

O think Burke will heavily pursue these guys however. He likes the guys he had in ANA; see beauch, lupul, gardnier(to an extent he drafted him), Gigueure etc.

I'd take either on the Canucks for $8.5M a year long-term.

If Corey Perry is UFA, I would offer him 13 years, 110.5M ... 8.5M AAV, without hesitation !

Which page is that? I sure hope it's not the one I'm thinking of.

Is this even serious? It surely doesn't benefit the Ducks...

Oh man I would fear for Burke's life if Getlzaf and Perry walked at the end of the year.

Are you talking about where he traded his 3rd best center that just turned down a 10 year contract offer? Because that situation has zero in common with Perry and Getzlaf other then the time until UFA.

Getzlaf and Perry are on totally different level, have never turned down an offer or expressed the desire to leave, and are the anchor of our team not a 3rd liner.

Murray should have offered an extension at the draft. If they walk into the season without negotiating a long term deal they should be traded.

So from what I can tell, neither Getz or Perry signed a contract before the lockout took affect.

Are both still interested in remaining with the ducks?

Does one or the other have interest in going to UFA?

That is ridiculous money. Even with a 70 mil cap that is stupid. No wonder the CBA needs to be renogiated.
