Probably one of my favorite Selanne/Duck moments.

Good on him. I'm fairly certain parts of him aren't human any more.

Great news for not only Ducks fans but NHL fans in general. He is truly a special talent. Good to see him back!

Awesome news. Teemu is the man. There was an equally humorous video posted whenever he signed a 1-year contract last summer.

Teemu is using this contract money to open his comedian club. That was a great vid. Better days.

'Cause you know we'd take good care of him. With countless gushing Tweets and Selanne jerseys soaked in gallons of joyful tears, all season long.

It's all for the best, if that had happened I'd almost feel sorry for the rest of the Jets, or rather Selanne Support Squad.

He's managed that just once in the last 5 seasons...and last I checked he's getting older every year

Did lead the team in points last year though...

Compared to what Getzlaf and Perry are making, not so bad at all.

True but 26 goals and 66 points last season @ 4.5 mil seems pretty reasonable to me, assuming he can put up similar numbers this year. And that was 66 points on the second line of the Ducks.

26g 66p last year and he is still going strong. Tell me a better off-season signing this year value wise?

funny video by the Ducks announcing the signing.
I wouldn't go that far. He hasn't announced retirement over and over just to be found hanging around the practice rink asking if he can come and play.

I love Selanne. I don't care who he plays for, I just want him to keep playing in the NHL.

Stuart in SJ was a sweet deal.Same could be said for Vlasic.. Teemu at 4.5 is a good deal though

Im a King fan and even I think this is an awful comment.

Guy is at WORST a 50pt winger and hes making 4.5 on a one year deal on a team that never approaches the cap.

Gimme a break.
