how many Webisodes will there be? i estimated that there will be 18ish

wild.com says each one will be 4-8 minutes long so that is 72-144 minutes, and there will be 6 Becoming Wild episodes aired, each one 30 minutes = 180 minutes

so unless i got something wrong there will be fresh content for the 30 minute episodes

Becoming Wild has commercial breaks. Last year each episode was approximately 22 minutes long. 6x22=132 minutes (counting intro/outro time), which falls into your estimated range.

Same here. They better use last years narrator, because I do not think I can stand listening to LaPanta.

Maybe they'll have someone different commentating every episode? Still hope they have the guy from last season though.

Couple of things:

Bertschy's stride is awful.

Hope they can get Thomas signed to a deal after the year. Really liked him at camp last season and I'd assume he's going back to school again this year? Impressive player for a DIII guy. If he's still playing at that level.

So about the webisodes vs the Full episodes on FSN...

Will they post the full episodes on Wild.com like they did last season or will those of us that don't live in Minnesota not be able to see the full episodes this year?

Looks like they are using some of the newer power skating techniques (side to side arms instead of front to back like they taught 10 years ago).

Why is Charlie Coyle talking about Karn's methods like it was the first time he's seen them?

It's amazing - you can hear Haula talk for 5 minutes before one word sticks out and reminds you that "oh yeah, he's from Finland."

Definitely. I love hearing his Gopher interviews. I usually don't watch or know the players, but I listen. So when I hear that I know its him.

Haula learned English in Finland from Americans. There's a huge difference when you learn from native speakers. That's doubly true when it's learned at a young age and from those who are likely to push their accent.

I had heard Dumba's skating wasn't as good as they had hoped though.

Yeah, I guess some people are just lucky, or more talented.
My mom's Finnish-American (she has no accent) and I was born in the states, moved to Sweden when I was 2, back when I was 11... Plenty of Americans around to teach me, still sound like a goof.
