Happened to me too, can't remember but I think it was Marc Staal for a ****** defenseman (like 78-80 OVR) and a 2nd. I obviously accept and they give on those stupid responses.

Just did a fantasy draft and Ovechkin wasn't picked until 47th. I passed on him twice.

Do Yakupov and Galchenyuk have high potentials anyways? Like yakupov is b- and AG is C i think so why is it big deal if they went in later rounds...sure in real life they are good but the game doesn't see it that way...unless you change potential yourself.

Craziest thing that happened to me was 4 of my defenders getting injured long term in first 5 games. Then I had 13 straight home games...

Yakupov does have high potential, I grabbed him 1st overall in the 2012 draft and he is currently 89OVR and basically a PPG player. He is unedited btw.

It's random. I've had him just as you described but I'm currently in 2032 in my current beagm and he just retired with hall of fame numbers. I picked him up for his final four years and the first 3 he was still a 70 pt player.

I tried just restarting the draft a few times but every time the pick got stolen from me.
That's where it happened to me also. I forgot about that.

On a line with Parise and lucic, Tyler Seguin (rated 94) had 9 goals. 9. NINE.

So just got done playing a marathon with my Be A GM. I'm started with the Islanders and am in the first season.

Chris Kelly was picked up on waivers from Boston two weeks earlier.

I packaged Kelly, Moulson, Montador, 2nd, and Scarlett [Prospect] for Zdeno Chara.

Two days later, I pick up Rich Peverley and Brad Marchand on waivers.

So essentially...

Moulson, Montador, 2nd, and Scarlett

for

Chara, Marchand, Peverley

I go back to playing NHL 10 and saw some weird stuff in that game.

I was on my 4th season when EA shut down the servers. Was I ever pissed. I had built my farm team up and it was producing a couple of NHL ready players each year. I had developed a bunch of draft picks. And I had cleared enough cap space to take a run at either Crosby or Weber if they became free agents.

I haven't played NHL 12 for as long, but I know in NHL 10 the computer free agent signings were ridiculous. Cam Ward became an unrestricted free agent and was signed to a $6 million per year contract, by Buffalo, which already had Ryan Miller with a similar contract. I was able to get Miller without giving up anything significant.

One area NHL 12 improved was the minor leagues. I like that junior players go back to their junior clubs. In NHL 10 after I signed them they would either play with my NHL team or go to the minor league team. All of my draft picks would play big minutes in the minors at 18 and 19 and build up experience points. When the servers were shut down four out of the five players (in NHL 10 the draft was five rounds) from my first draft had graduated to the NHL and were significant players on my roster.

This has happened to me before, just for checking the stats of their player

The entire system is so broken; needs a lot of fixes.

What does everyone think of Sidney Crosby winning the Selke Trophy every year in my game.

Heatley scoring eight straight goals in a simulated game.

I had to check three or four times to believe it.

Well, I have Semin who's coming out of three 60+ goals season (72, 63, 66), 100+ pts season (119, 106, 103) only by simming, I have to sign him, he's still 31 years old, and he's only asking for 5M. Nice.

Someone used Komiserek to shut me down in HUT today.

Apperently a defence of Joslin, Komiserek and a bunch of guys ive never heard of is better than Myers, Ekman-Larsson, Burns, Coburn, Bogosian, Smid.
