He mad .693 last year. So it's actually less than his qualifying offer (728). To swing that it's probably 1-way... I just wonder if it's 1-way for both years or just the last year.
With his salary you could yhink he`s heading for #4 C spot. Bob has something in his mind? Trade for Crosby? Translate Sexton to center 2nd line? Will see.
But Boner is pretty good.
Amongst our turnover machines last year, he gave away only 9 pucks, while taking away 28 - that stat stands out in our team.Took 3d most FO`s, was +1 and earned 18 points in 50 games and took only 4 penalties.
Good signing! Plays little soft but have other advantages.

For getting paid less than the QO, both years have got to be 1 way. Otherwise, fire his agent! Well... he should fire his agent for agreeing to so little a salary. On the flip side, great deal for the front office!
700k is about right after what Perrault signed for. Ideally he's our 4th line centre to start the year so he's getting paid accordingly. If he continues improving then it will be a pretty good contact.
Assuming that he centers the fourth line, it is a decent deal for a fourth line center. I would rather have him than Pelley. If he centers the third line effectively, it is a great deal for the Ducks. If he is totally ineffective, then it is not so large an amount that he can't be buried in Norfolk. As an added bonus, this takes him until he is 26, so he will still be an RFA when the contract expires, giving the Ducks the ability to lock up him for an even longer term if the Ducks want to do so.
Agreed. I'm hoping he can continue his play after gaining some confidence. Camp is going to be interesting with him and Holland right behind him fighting for a spot. He was pretty close last year but needed to work on his all around game.
