Good signing. A little more money then I would have offered at this point, but still a good deal.

Excuse me if I don't get the reference... but Peter Mueller is American.

If healthy and playing his best hockey then it's a massive steal, kid is very skilled with a GREAT shot. If he's injured, not a huge deal either, insurance covers the salary. Hard not to like this for the Cats, even if the chance of him getting re-injured is probably pretty high.

Low-risk, high-reward signing.
Hopefully for PM he can stay healthy.

It was the contrast between Mueller and the way Dave Tippett felt he should be playing. Maybe some other things, who knows. He made his bed here. At least when Turris came back he to play for a bit he made it look like he was trying. I remember rumours where people were question if Peter even really wanted to play hockey for a living. Anyways...

Now that he's in the East I don't have to be so critical about him anymore, no real reason to hate the Panthers so. Just think it's funny let go of Wolski and bring in Mueller. Seems no one won that trade, Porter went to Buffalo, Wolski to Caps and Mueller to FLA. If anything, I'll tell myself we at least got Roszival for Wolski and that helped with our defensive depth and making to the Conf. finals.

Jokes aside, I really like Mueller. He needs top 6 action on the left wing or point time on the PP to be most effective, but his slap shot is a thing of beauty when he's given time and space to unload.

He could probably replace Garrison on the point on the PP, but the left side instead of right.
Stastny I hope.....

I love this signing and really hope he can turn it around and stay healthy. I've heard good things about his character. One of those players you root for no matter what team he goes to you know. We are glad to have him and can definately use his shot on the PP to replace Garrison's!

Well if he works out as well as I think, you guys will owe us one, perhaps someone like Kulikov.

What type of system does Dineen run anyways?

So happy Mueller went out east. I really thought he was gonna break out this year if healthy. Thats the only question, he is a very talented player.

I doubt Tallon trades away Kuli unless it's to be packaged for someone like Ryan in Anaheim. He's one of our core future stars in Tallon's eyes and I just don't see him getting traded for Stastny. Don't get me wrong I think Stastny is awesome and would love to have him here. I just feel Tallon won't trade Kuli away unless it's to add an elite, create your own offense type of forward.
