Bit more fiesty then i'd expect for a scrimmage. I think that sets a good tone for the team.

This Graovac kid is real good. Another beauty move in shootout. Could be 7th-round robbery

Well injuries are a possibility any time you take the ice. I like the culture of playing hard at all times. When they start throwing cheap shots i'll be more concerned.

It's like Dumba was just using the first half to gauge his opponents. He was just fantastic in that second half. Couldn't have really asked for more from him. Also, it's nice for a chance to have more people jump on the Graovac bandwagon.

From what I saw, and yes, if only the guys in the booth announced the game - although I do like Falness, funny guy.

• Granlund and Zucker - wow, chances, and great forechecking. They were fun to watch. Definitely looked advanced.

• I like Gunnarson. Big, skates and defends well.

• Bulmer can't play nice - I love it.

• Coyle was invisible, as for the most part was Phillips. Leads me to believe that chemistry does mean something.

• Mr. Graovac, you go back to junior and keep on doing what you did tonight. Surprise star of the game.

•You could also tell that Kampfer was one of the older guys on the ice tonight. Interesting lesson in prospect development.

Granlund, Bulmer, and Zucker were just out of the rest of the players' league.

2nd half:

Bulmer again manhandling along boards. I like his game but am glad he didn't mess up Brodin.

Brodin had a much better 2nd half. Had quite a few shots on net and his quick pass started the transition to Foucault which let to one of Graovac's goals.

Dumba also looked great 2nd half. Really quick steps to get going and liked his decision making with the puck.

Graovac was showing a complete game. Had a really nice shootout attempt as well.

Foucault showed his hands this period. Amazing hands, shot, and offensive creativity. If he just had the effort level...

I noticed Seeler's skating ability again. While no Brodin, it is nice to see defensemen able to skate with the puck and make a first pass instead of just flip it into the neutral zone or along the boards.

Did not notice Coyle the whole time in all honesty. Also did not notice much of Larsson.

Was trying to see how Corbett was but only noticed him at the point once or twice. Nothing he did to stand out.

And I don't need to say much about Zucker and Granlund. They were just trying to find each other. Clearly think the game at a higher level. Still think Zucker needs to get a lot stronger. Also, hope MiG does not try to get too fancy in main camp.

Overall, it was as advertised. Green had more offense but White had more workers. I really thought the Brodin/Kampfer pairing controlled play when they were on the ice. I think Brodin had about 4 shots - his shot looks much harder than it did last year.

I remember going the first year we had Leddy and thought that there were some guys that were pretty good. This year is 20 times better. It really shows how well GMCF and Co have done in such a short time.

Can't wait for Sunday!

Got to admit I was not expect a lot from Gunnarsson. Happy I was wrong. Great awareness. Late bloomer.
