3rd Line Center to Vancouver
Canucks could use a new 3rd line center to fill Hodgson/Pahlssons spot, and he should be capable of stepping in a top 6 role for a month or two while Kesler is out. Some think Schroeder can step in, but personally I don't think he is the type of player the canucks need right now. I'm sure most of you know the regular trading chips by now, Raymond, Ballard, Tanev, Schroeder, Picks. Maybe a goalie if the 3C is packaged with something. Any 3C's for sale?

Dustin Jeffrey for Jordan Schroeder. Not ideal, but seems to be about right value-wise.

You know who would make a good 3rd line center in Vancouver? Max Lappiere.

I kinda wish the canuckswould uselappy as the pest to play against the opposition's best if he could handle it. But he's no machine defensively.
Vancouver's best hockey as a team was played with Manny centering the 3rd pre eye injury. I think they need that again.
Not sure what elite checking players are available though... Teams usually like to hang on to them.
I've heard Bozak's name touted as a potential guy to come back for Luongo, that seemed to make the most sense. That way Vancouver can keep Raymond and Hansen in the bottom six when healthy.

How a fan of their own team misspells a player's name is mind boggling.

Babchuck + Stajan for Ballard?
Also why not just sign Wellwood?

Sounds like you could use Shawn Horcoff. Great value contract, hits everything that moves, protects the young guys, scores lots of points, and he's very handsome too!
It will cost you the low low price of Cory Schneider.

I don't think we NEED someone who can fill a top 6 role. If we can have a guy of Lapierre's level that would be enough I think.

So Schneider+Kassian = Horcoff
Jensen+ 1st < Potter
Canucks need to add. Potter would be a top 2 defenseman on this Canucks team.

Carefull, you spelled his name wrong!
I like Dubinsky, would love to have him but I just dont think his cap hit would be functional on the team as a 3rd line center.
