4th liner to Toronto

Leafs have an opening on their 4th line since Crabb left, and although an option to fill it could be internally, with the likes of Komarov, Hamilton, D'amigo etc, I was curios what 4th liners out there that can play and will fight sometimes are available and what would it cost to get them? Feel free to do a package deal if you want also...

Beleskey
McCormick
Jackman
Mayers
Carcillo
Eager
Clifford
Martin
Rupp
Hendricks
Thorburn

That is just to name a handful of them, obviously there are a few other guys out there. But are any of these guys available or anyone that I don't have on my list above available? And as I said, what would it cost to get them? Feel free to do a package deal if you want as some of these players probably have similar price tags so it might get tedious with what is needed to acquire them.

You probably don't get Bernier alone for 2 2nd rounders...

Matt Martin hates the Leafs, and he is not available.

Craig Adams for a 4th rounder. Lost a step, but a very good PKer who'll hit and fight (though he's a terrible fighter).

You can have Eager for a 4th rounder. He's surprisingly fast and became a little more of a scorer with the Oilers but he can still get in scraps every now and then, if the coach uses him right, I guess.

We don't need any more fourth liners, We've got Komarov, Steckel and Brown. Not to mention Zigomanis down the pipeline.

thats what i was thinking. why does toronto need more 4th liners?

im under the assumption that our 4th line will be brown-steckel-komorov

if for whatever reason we need one in an emergency there are no shortage of 4th liners on the marlies who imo would be as good or better then just about any 4th line we would look to trade for.

I'd like to have Beleksey or Carcillo on the Leafs.

Hendricks doesn't belong on that list. He was Washington's best player in the first round.

Komarov-Steckel-Brown

Players from the Marlies can fill in if there any of these 3 get injured or suck.

That isn't more value than the Kessel deal, it is more picks, but 3rd rounders are worth a lot less than 1st rounders, or rather a 2nd and a 3rd isn't worth the same as a top ten pick.

Are the Leafs looking for a traditional 4th line grinder?

Sign Kostopolous, Flames won't resign him even though he was good on our 4th line.

Skill wise? Calgary could probably be convinced to part with Comeau if you want to try to add some scoring depth.
