I've said it before, we can't afford to let a PPG player like him walk.

Not happy with 2 years. Didn't want 2 years out of Rau either. At least the team shouldn't be worried about losing him to waivers.

Remember watching him play for NoDak a few years back. He was always decent but I always thought he would be way too small to play in the show. Doubt he ever touches ice at the Xcel through the duration of this contract.

Hopefully he tears up Houston and if he can make it in the NHL, then good signing. Until then I'm probably just going to stay neutral.

He already touched the ice at the X. He made his debut the final home game and had an assist.

Making him Wild's only PPG player last season.

Chay Genoway contract extension with Wild: 2 year /1.15 total. First year, 2 way. Second year, one way.

Not sure if it's been mentioned before.

Thats interesting. One-way on the second half of the deal seems odd for a guy like Genoway. I suppose we can always waive him though.

Connolly fits in there now too. I am assuming he would be between Cuma and Genoway or around that spot.

I wonder that myself. As much as we are heavy on NHL forwards we are also very heavy on AHL/NHL tweener D. I would think guys like Caron, Jobke, and Krupp will be in Orlando. I would also imagine Connolly, Genoway, Medvec, Cuma, and Bagnall are locks for Houston. Then you have Lorenz who I honestly know nothing about and then you have Brodin, Falk, Kampfer, Prosser that also need to be sorted out as to who makes the roster. If Brodin makes the team your talking about 3 of those guys being in Houston...

I'm going to guess that anyone who thinks Jobke will be in Orlando doesn't know who Jobke is.

Is Gunnarsson definately going back to Sweden this year? He looks like he could handle the AHL OK.
