Pavelski attending NAHL Jet's camp on Friday (the team he's part owner of).

Couture's been tweeting (as has the NHLPA) from SmashFest (ping pong tournament, charity event; organized by Dominic Moore). Dan Winnik's team won the doubles.

Forget Parise, the Pens are set!

Neal - Crosby - Ferriero

He'll have to work real hard, the Pens already have 12 forwards with one-way contracts, Benn's got a two-way.

He'll have the same role there as he had here. With a little (bad)luck, and some sustained play he wasn't able to put together here, maybe he sticks once called-up, who knows?

not sure if this is the best place for this, but he was a ex shark player, and he talks about an ex coach of the sharks so i think it is sort of shark news lol.

DJ: Did you ask him about Ron Wilson? Ask him about Ron Wilson [laughs].

MHH: What about Ron Wilson?

SCOTT PARKER: Yeah, Ron's a dick.

That article is fascinating. Difficult to read because of it being a transcript, but interesting anyway.

He both advocates more fighting, no instigator, etc, but at the same time talks about how he has seizures, and his hands shake. Seems like contradictions since he played prior to most of these rule changes and yet had over 20 concussions. I walked away reading that with actually a stronger dislike for fighting, which I know was the opposite of what he was trying to say.

Without the sideshow Parker wouldn't have sniffed NHL time and he knows it. Laraque is just more honest about it

That and their interpretation skills with regards to Marleau's NMC leave a lot to be desired. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it means the decision will be made when the time comes to do so. Saying they haven't reached that bridge means the situation hasn't come up for him to make such a decision. Instead, they took it to mean that he's not willing to waive his clause. I don't know about people sometimes.

I don't know about TMac but I sincerely doubt that the Sharks get off to such a start that they have to can anyone. They have enough top guys to carry them during the season. They just lack the forward depth needed to make a deep run in the playoffs right now.
