Does that mean the centennial plaza is gone? Oh well.

That looks pretty nice. I like the little Canadiens symbol at the top.

Apparently the staircase in the lobby will be in the shape of the CH And yeah, it's right over the plaza.. not sure what's going to happen to everything that's there

Looks awesome whether others like it or not.
Someone get the architects to make the Eye of Sauron up top but with a flaming Habs logo instead

What's that ? You work at 5 the next morning ? Good luck getting sleep on game night....

A place there would be outrages.

Get a room on the bell centre side. Smash a hole in your wall and watch the habs for free.

Is it possible to put a building over the cent plaza? I would think it would have to go on the other side of the street, that's just kind of waste anyway.

I know the picture has it right over the plaza but I never thought there was enough land to put a building there, mind you I have no idea how much area a building needs.

I was taking a (very bad, I guess) shot at the lack of playoff activity of the past season.

Man, I hope it takes like 6 years to build so I have time to graduate university and can purchase one of the top floor flats

No, but really, that would be such a nice place to live.

Highly improbable, not on a structure of that magnitude.

It is moved or removed altogether.

Why? You can go anywhere in the city and see everything you just said. The entire area is a shrine to the team.

Building looks nice, but... they want to build it on top of Centennial Plaza?!

Exactly. How about the inside of the Bell Center? Not enough history and shrine-like stuff in there?

I love the design of the building and I think this is nothing but a good thing for the Habs. There is definitely enough die-hards with money that would purchase these units.

Doesnt mean the centennial plaza is gone. It might just fit inside the building. It will just become a lot less touristic unfortunately...

Kinda cool but at the moment reminding me of the brand-centric monolithic corporate beast that has gone without a championship for 45 years .

By the time its built & occupied it may be 3-6 years, work hard and you never know you may end up living in the Penthouse Suite or something better!

This place will also work for concerts, would be nice to pre-drink and not have to take a cab.

$43 million for the Loto-Max tonight. If I win, definitely buying one of these to go with season tickets.

I played too. 43 is my favourite number, that's why. Maybe you remember when I used to use 43 back in NHL 11. If I win 43 mil though, I doubt I'll be buying one. Could do better with that money!

I got a scare last week. Literally five seconds after finding out the sole winner of the $50 million was in Quebec, my mother calls me screaming that she won. My heart almost stopped before she broke out into laughter.

I think the best thing about this is the luxury of not only being attached to the Bell Centre, but being downtown, period. It's quite a nice spot too, so I would buy one. Kind of cool to tell everyone I live right in a condo that is attached to the Bell Centre.
