Would have loved to see him in a jets jersey, but in my eyes he can do no wrong!

For some reason at the Ducks game in December, there was a bozo in the crowd holding up a sign saying, "Teemu, we forgive you... Come home."

Like, what?

Yea he was wearing a Finish sweater as well. WTF was that.......what exactly did Selanne do wrong that he needed forgiving for? You have all the time in the world to make a sign and that is what you come up with when a simple THANK YOU would have been so much more appropriate.

Yeah whoever that was was completely out to lunch.

My favourite, and I wish someone had a picture of this, was the one that said -- "TEEMU: At your age you need a Kane and a Wheeler to assist you. Come home."

They only showed it briefly on one of the videos somewhere and I laughed my butt off. THAT'S clever.

Maybe Teemu signs a short contract with Winnipeg next year in an effort to hit 700.

I think the only way we will ever see Teemu in a Jets uniform is if Anaheim decides they don't want him. Anaheim is the team he will retire with.

The video on the Duck's web site announcing it is pretty funny. I got a chuckle out of it.

Hey **** you guys that was me!!!!

**pause for effect

Seriously though. That's super dumb.

From what I've heard, he had planned to spend his career in the peg before they traded him and we lost the franchise.

True North should have opened their wallet & signed him for 1 year.

No ducks game this season blows.

We blew our load last year. Need at least another year for it to build back up. The way Selanne's going, though, I can see him playing another 4 years.

I wish he signed with the Jets but he's a Duck for life. I'm happy he's happy there. Even though they won't be winning the cup next year.
