Clackson was drafted by Philadelphia and was traded to Phoenix in June 2011 as part of the Bryzgalov deal. He never played in the Phoenix system because he became a Group VI free agent on July 1, 2011, and signed with Chicago (AHL) for the 2011-12 season.

5 players were given qualified offers but were not included on the NHL Free Agent List as Group 2 Free Agents. I'm thinking that four of the players (Cousineau, Da Costa, MacLellan, and Welsh fall into that "insufficient professional experience" (IPE) category (CBA 10.2). Several years ago, the NHL Free Agent List used to show the IPEs.

In Kulemin's case, maybe the club-elected arbitration has something to do with him not being listed.

The only other reason why players are included on the NHL Free Agent List is that they signed contracts prior to July 1 but it hasn't been announced. I don't think this is the case for these players.

Marco Cousineau (Anaheim) - Signed January 11, 2010

Stephane Da Costa (Ottawa) - Signed March 31, 2011

Nikolai Kulemin (Toronto) - Signed July 2, 2010, club-elected arbitration

Jack MacLellan (Nashville) - Signed March 12, 2012

Jeremy Welsh (Carolina) - Signed April 4, 2012

If I'm not mistaken, it was yesterday.

Also, per Andy Strickland, the St. Louis Blues will be announcing that Chris Porter will re-sign with them.

Buffalo Sabres re-sign defenseman T.J. Brennan to a one-year contract (assume it's his qualifying offer). They have also signed Nick Tarnasky to a one-year contract. He spent last season with Vityaz (KHL).

I don't think its' his QO since the deadline for signing those was a couple days ago

Also Caley the chart is still missing the Hagman in the KHL and Sebastian Erixon signing with Timra

He'll be in the ECHL, doesn't hurt to have a goalie there too.

Nice to see Tarnasky back in the NHL, hope he gets to see some action with their big club.

So what happens to all of the RFA's now that didn't accept their QO? Do they all go to arbitration or become UFA?

Well if you're going by unsigned players, you have to take Rome off the list (Signed with Dallas) and you lose your #1 goalie (re-signed with Minny), so with a goaltending duo of Dwayne Roloson and Ty Conklin, I'd say, no, probably not.

Sykora should be in the top six over Brunette, as should Huselius. You also forgot Colaiacovo. But still, no chance at the playoffs.

If you have Kurtis Foster on your top-pairing, you know you have problems.
