Yeah Subban is a tricky player to trade because his upside is insane. Trading him could be something the Canadiens regret for a long time like they did with Chelios.
If anything we would trade Kaberle who may not have value according to many here but your telling me you can't move a top 4 dman (marginal) who is guaranteed 30 points in a season that is making only 4.25 mil for two more years...

No chance he gets traded and I don't buy this "rumour" for one second
Montreal will happily take him long term.
Previous announcements (2 days ago) from Stubbs talking with PK's agent said that things are progressing slowly as there is no rush to sign him and both sides will come to an agreement in a matter of time.
No hint of low balling or disputes were shown. The qualifying offer was a formality and both sides knew he wouldn't sign the low contract.
I love how this "rumour" comes out after he rejected the QO

Think Couturier+ for Subban. Philly won't like it, but essentially thats why it's not worth to discuss subban trade.
So would I. I can only imagine what kind of return the Habs would want from the Bruins. It would be way too much, maybe if there was a 3rd team involved so they can each pretend they aren't trading with each other it could work
Too bad the Habs and bruins don't trade together ever/ are in same division
Would love his offensive skill/powerplay presence on the bruins blue line, it's something that has been missing obviously. his attitude and antics would be quickly worked/forced out of his game

Yet the Bruins and the Leafs have no problem dealing with each other every other week

You mean in the same way that they've been worked out of Marchands? Marchands "attitude" is what makes him the player he is and I wouldn't want him to change at all, he's exactly what I wished Lapierre could have been but it wasn't in the cards for him and Montreal
No need to perpetuate a negative stereotype.
Other players with "attitudes" that needed adjusting but never did were Chelios, Pronger, Lafleur, M Carter, Richards, Roy and the list goes on. Everyone has their own personality and that resonates with the types of players they are.
We haven't even gotten to see the fun of Subban vs Subban yet, lets at least get a couple years out of it first before the Habs trade PK to Boston.

PK is on an entirely different level from Marchand. Marchand fights and agitates opposing players, not teammates, for starters.
As the poster you replied to said, if Subban works a lot of that attitude out of his game while still agitating and perhaps standing up for himself, he is one hell of an acquisition.

Overblown by the media, from all accounts he's well liked in the room. And who cares what opponents think about him.

This again. Not sure why it was brought up before you though but I'll politely say I disagree with your comment.

Subban drops em more than Marchand...Subban also lays out people using a clean hip check, not the low bridge stuff Marchand has been suspended for...
