They should've built the tower on the parking lot in front of the Bell Centre. I wonder how much that land is valued at...

I see.

At the same time it's good because the area right around the Bell Centre isn't the best but who is going to be buying expensive condos? Aren't we in a worldwide recession?

Yeah looks like there's going to be a lot of construction in this area and downtown in general. But its not all condos going up, there is also some office.

Nice that Montreal/Quebec is experiencing this building boom. Toronto has been going through one for the last few years but it seems to have slowed down a bit.

Nice. Looks like the area will look way nicer in 2015. Can't wait.

Kinda blows to put all that work into Centennial Plaza only to bulldoze it a few years later.

Oh no, there is no mistaking montreal. Half our streets either have hardly visible or badly placed street signs. We have protesters on the streets and in the parks. Everything is falling apart.

I don't think we're quite like any other random city in NA.

No it's not. All big publicity boards and light shows that you see in most big north American cities are illegal in Montreal

Montreal will never be plastered with lights and billboards, and thank god for this because I hate those cities.

No food selling on the streets either. Montreal will keep its charm.
