I just think we need to move some of our cannon fodder to free up a couple contract slots. We need some breathing room to sign someone in case of injuries (and I still say we should have signed Madden last year), an undrafted free agent dazzling us, and what have you.

does anyone see a little zach parise in jason zucker? zucker is fast, gritty, can score goals, and zucker has an awesome shot. have seen this dude for denver and at wild camps and he is impressive. or is there a better comparison, i mean he may not turn out to be a star like parise but i feel like they could play a similar style game

I've seen this comparison made on this board and I definitely agree with it. I think he's a middle income man's Parise.

Hopefully Zucker and spend some time watching Parise up close this year. I think he can be a model of Zuckers highest ceiling. Even if Zucker can't hit that hes still a good role model for a 3rd liner with some offensive pop.

I think with Zucker it ranges anywhere from a Torrey Mitchell to a Cal Clutterbuck to a Devin Setoguchi to yes a Zach Parise...He's a hell of a player and who knows what he can be one day. Very intriguing prospect. His raw skills are very very impressive and his pedigree is also impressive.

Late pass but I went through a few invitees that stood out to me over the two scrimmages. I skipped over all of the invited players in the other long thoughts and wanted to give some of them credit.

Although it's mostly about the prospects, there is also a quick bit on Dumba's deal.

Well, I just got back from my Minnesota trip, I'll be moving in September and I'm now a partial Season ticket holder (to say f'ing pumped would be an understatement).

I was at the first game and had a blast, and I went to select-a-seat. I wasn't able to be at the 2nd scrimmage but I heard it was as fun as the first.

I've got pictures and video too, seems most have that covered already though.
