Michael Ryder?

Hello guys, I got a few questions regarding Michael Ryder because of my fantasy team. Where do ya guys see Ryder with the team next season? Will the addition of Roy to replace Ribeiro be good for Ryder? Will Whitney and Jagr take Ryders icetime next season? Are ya guys expecting Ryder to improve, regress or stay the same next season?

He's a Top 6 player that should see the same ice time.

Look for him to play with Whitney. Depending on a lockout and Roy's recovery, look for the center to be Roy, Eakin, Glennie, Wandell, etc. The first 2 are your best bet.

1) 2nd line with Whitney and Roy.
2) Meh, pretty similar players... I would guess it's pretty negligible.
3) I don't expect him to lose much icetime. I guess his PP minutes will drop a bit, but we sucked on the PP last year, so I expect him to produce there pretty similarly there, too.
4) I guess I'm not expecting another 35 goal season, I think 28G 28A 56P is what I'd be looking for realistically.

I believe he had a career high shooting percentage last year and Roy is less of a playmaker and more a shooter so I am expecting a dropoff of about 10 goals with room to be pleasantly surprised again. 2nd line minutes and PP most likely, but I don't expect his numbers to decline more than that.

I'm tapering expectations and going to go with 25 goals. Especially with Roy out a few months.

I tend to agree with the Mid to High 20's range for goals. Barring injury or some kind of terrible chemistry with his linemates.

I would expect close to 30 again. A not insignificant portion of his goals last season were 100% the Michael Ryder show and really no one else.

Also not to forget Ray Whitney who helped Vrbata in Phoenix to a 35 goals season
