Heard that rumor on Howden and Grimaldi and Brickley were taking care of business in tending to past injuires to be prepred 100% for their upcoming seasons. Although the cost factor is real for the NCAA players, I don't believe it was "the" factor for either of these players.

I went to Washington Capitals Development camp on Friday and Saturday.

For the Saturday scrimmage, they basically combined it with a "Fan Fest", the facility was packed. Standing room only. The scrimmage was being streamed over the internet as well.

They Autograph lines for former/current players.

My question is: Was our camp anything like this in terms of being fan friendly ?

Fan friendly? Absolutely it was. The team advertised it was free and open to the public.

As far as being a big event in S. Florida, no I don't think so. But I have a feeling you already knew that.

Watched him a lot last year, and can't recall ever seeing him lose a puck battle along the boards.

67 Vincent Trocheck: B+. Should be on the USA WJC team.
I was shocked when they didn't take him last year. One of the hardest working guys on the ice.

74 Alexander Delnov: C-. Interested to see where he decides to play this year.
He was at the draft, apparently really excited to play in North America, and was then selected 8th overall in the CHL import draft by the Seattle Thunderbirds. I'd be surprised if he wasn't playing there next year.

Nice writeups, by the way. Well done.

They advertise it free to the public.

Many players made themselves available after.

They did very well, Not much else they could do.
