"If the phone ever rang, if there was somebody who inquired, I would give it serious thought about playing," he said. "I just feel the way my season ended in Detroit, because of the injury, affected me playing the rest of the year. Everything was just starting to fall into place. I was playing catch-up the rest of the year."
Covered. He tweeted about Parise and Suter signing in Minny and said something like 'wow... can i come back to play for you guys?' and that's been blown out of proportion thanks to a slow news period in hockey.
He also refers to himself as an oldass golfer on twitter now. Sounds like he's enjoying retirement. After his stint in Detroit and his sendoff in Minny and Dallas in that season, you should get the hint that he is indeed done. But yes, he MAY come back. Just like Theo Fleury, Owen Nolan and Dominic Hasek.
Got the feeling that Shane Doan's decision is holding up the entire league's transactions at this point.

I saw it swedish Kanal 1, TV2, TV3, TV4, TV4+, TV4Film, Kanal 5, Kunskapskanalen or maybe it was just a dream. Can't remember
coming back for one year is ********, no one ever comes back for just one year.
If they are able to make it through a full year and still be productive they always come back for another. Or they start the season are unable to be competitive and retire a couple of month's in.
I can't remember when someone came out of retirement and stayed for one full season.
