@HABSINSIDEMAN any news on the "potential" trade involving the Habs landing the Blues' Berglund?
@HABSINSIDEMAN
@BluesInsider they are talking but dont know how far they are in talks
Saw this a few minutes ago, thoughts? Nothing too specific.
Don't put any stock in those unreliable twitters. If there were serious talks and if the Habs were close to getting Berglund, someone major would be reporting it. Montreal is too big of a franchise to not have a major person reporting something like this.
They been chattering.g all afternoon and yesterday about it. Nothing coming this way as far as Blue NEEDS.
It's just random fake twitters that spew crap. Strickland has more credibility then them.
I mean does anyone think that Army would do a deal that looks anything like that. I could believe that Berglund could be moved, but it would either be in something bigger or with another deal lined up with it.
I'm new this year to cyberfanhood. While I read articles, I'm new to boards and Twitter. It's quite an interesting world inside my phone And to think you can call people on this thing too! (ole timer here)

Haha. Well for teams like Montreal and Toronto, there will always be crazy rumors flying around. No need to worry about this one.
PHI:
Cole or Dags
2014 First
Prospect
Maybe another draft pick?
(this is assuming Nashville does not match Philly's offer for weber)
I don't think Philly wants to move Coburn, who has a modified NTC. I don't know how it's modified, but it's entirely possible the Blues aren't on his list of acceptable teams and he wouldn't waive it. If they want to save money, they'll probably move Meszaros or Voracek. I wouldn't mind Meszaros on the Blues, and, thankfully, it wouldn't come at nearly that price.
I wouldn't mind mez, but I think coburn would be a better fit... How is mez's physical game?
On par with Coburn's. Mezsaros I'd say is also a little bit better offensively. I think both could help take some of Colaiacovo's PP time, but Coburn's PP minutes were taken over by Mezsaros when he arrived in Philly.
Coburn just won't be available, but there is a very good chance that Mezsaros could be. Mez will also be significantly cheaper.
