So I guess that just leaves Da Costa, Daug (arb.) and maybe Winnie.

I'm guessing one-way, as the value is less than his entry-level even.

the sens usually mention if it's a two-way in their press releases. (see gryba's press release).
this is a one-way.

also, JOB's waiver exemption is up, so he's an NHLer this year anyways. Dont see a solid bottom-six center passing through waivers.

Ya it would be sweet if it was 2-way but considering Condra, Greening, and Butler all got 1-ways last summer I'm sure Jimmy will too.

Why?

Dude busted his arse on the 4th line and earned a spot on the roster. If he can add an element of meanness to his game, he's going to be sweet for us in that role.

What is the point of giving him a two-way? He's the fourth line center on the team and clearly not going back to the minors.

Also, like danishh mentioned he's waiver eligible this season regardless of contract.

Good signing. Kelly version II in the making. And if he gets pushed out of a spot by the competition, there is some trade value.

it's gonna be a one way with no winchester yet and Konopka leaving we need a 4th line center.

Why would people wish this was a 2 way deal? Two way deals have nothing to do with being able to be sent down, people know this right?

Some do, some don't.

A lot of people seem to think a 2 way contract makes you waiver exempt no matter what.

Good signing!

JOB really progressed last season and has solidified his spot as our 4th line C.

Great deal, and JOB deserved that one-way. Very pleased.
