All I have to say is THANK FREAKING GOD! I was starting to get worried. This is the exact kind of contract I was hoping for. Wonder if he got any signing bonus this year?

St Louis is a very good team now.. I don't think they have any superstar forwards but they have forwards that do everything, reminds me of the Bruins when they won the Cup.

Thats a very nice deal . Locked for his prime at a really good cap.
Armstrong is up there with the best GM of the league imo

Oshie couldn't have been offer sheeted because he was going to arbitration.

Armstrong does it again, he always gets great value contracts. Oshie at 4.1 per is a steal in a yr or two and the length is exactly what he (and Blues fans) wanted. I was worried Oshie would go to arbitration and end causing some bad blood with the FO. Now Armstrong needs to start on Petro early, if he ever hits rfa teams will throw anything he wants.

Great deal for both sides. Oshie is the type of player winning teams need because he competes on a high level every night, and has the talent to match. Any team in the league would take him on this contract, congrats to Blues fans - you have a very nice core to build around.

I think a decent comparable to Oshie is Dubinsky(although most would rather have the former), so in that regard this is just in line. But this was signed with a higher cap ceiling, so good for them.

We still have a half million to get to the floor and we have a full team lol.

Now Army can concentrate on a trade.

Imagine if we get Doan.

Doan-Backes-Oshie could make a line that combines for 500-600 hits.

Now that's scary.

Yesss thank you Army. It's great to see the two sides able to hash out a very reasonable deal.

Wow the Blues are sure making a nice team down there with some very solid contracts on their good players.

The Central is starting to change quite a bit it seems, could see the Blues going for another division title, even making the conference finals isn't out of the question.
