Now Burke needs to settle with Franson and let the fun begin.

Also so much for the talks that Burke is anti-Russian, eh?

In all seriousness, Kulemin is probably the closest Burke type of forward u can get on our roster. He is big, strong, fast, good hands, smart, solid defensively, goes to the net, gets physical when needed, etc.

Hes got the tools, but he was definitely a brick layer last year... #cementhands

fair deal. down season last year but realistic he can score 20 goals consistently and be a good 3rd liner at least.

If you're just a casual hockey fan that watches a couple of games, then I can understand your statement, if you know the game then you must be a hoot to watch games with.
Great deal. If he rediscovers the goal scoring touch, then he's an absolute steal. If he doesn't, then he's the type of guy you'd find on third lines of playoff caliber teams, although it's probably 750K - 1M more than the going rate (not the worst downside in the world when you consider the upside).

Hmm, I had say that's more so due his snake-bitten year. He has some sick hands in tight and up-close like most Russians, tho.

Thrilled with the deal. Even if he settles in as a 15 goal 3rd liner with great defence, that's perfectly okay money by me.

Seriously

Thats not that far off when you use the 0.1m per point. Id say this can only work on UFA contract.

yeah, but Gagner (assuming that's who you meant) had more points in one game than Kumy did goals on the year . . .

. . . Sorry Leafs fans. I'm a big Kumy fan, think it's a good deal from Burke, and think he'll rebound, but that was too easy to pass up. Sorry.

Nice contract. I think there is a good chance he'll rebound offensively.

Kulemin is bigger, grittier and a better two-way player (check their Corsi numbers). Oh, and he's scored 30 goals before, while Sammy can't even hit 20.

Great deal! Glad to not lose one of our few 2-way forwards. Hopefully can have a bounce back year.

I could see 20 goals 45 points. Nice signing. This and oshue signing r very tight, very sexual.

This is great.
Kulemin does so much more then put up points. He is by far the Leafs best 2 way player, and is great at shutting down oppositions best, night in night out.

2.8 is a steal for Kulemin

Post of the year.

Great deal. Kulemin tops out as a great second liner or an elite third liner. Win-win.

Really hope he can rebound. He's a good player who had an off year. Nice price on this; low risk- high reward!
