If Dumba hits his ceiling it'll be him. I'm getting a funny feeling though...He's no younger than Brodin was at camp last year and he didn't look anywhere near as good. So many things wrong with that argument but there it is.

I don't know that I agree. Brodin looked pretty good defensively and atrocious offensively in his first camp. Dumba looked pretty good offensively and well above average for CHL draftees defensively in his.

Numbers weren't great, but I thought he looked pretty good. Did pretty much everything I expected him to as a player (play along the boards, cycle game, play in front of the net). I think he could succeed very well on the top line with Parise and Koivu.

Hackett, for both NHL readiness and performance so far.

This.

Seriously, some people seem to only remember the scrimmage for some reason.

i don't think Dumba looked even average defensively, and Brodin had better chances than he did offensively (this year--i know a year older, but between someone who was a blackhole offensively and a kid that is supposed to be a premier OD...)

edit: like i said...just based on a feeling.

This is why I choose Dumba. At this point it's just potential, but I see his ceiling so valuable that I have to go with him. I also agree with Generic User, this is a very close group of prospects for the next five slots. Very interesting to see how they pan out in the coming years.

Bold vote - goalies development is very hard to predict. I'm still not sold on Hackett being the Wild's future starter. Gustafsson and Kuemper haven't shown signs of slowing down their development, either, which is a good sign.

I tried to go outside the box on this one. A Power forward like Coyle is hard to find, but I'm still questioning his development and whether he can put it all together. Hackett has shown me #1 potential and shows he can dominate on any level. Yea, he can be refined a lot more, but a great start for him so far. It'd be hard to make me happier about the Wild's goaltending prospects right now. Even if Hackett fails, there are 2 more to hopefully take his place. I'd even vote Dumba before Coyle for sheer upside. Although a good power forward is rare, I'm not going to over-rank him on need.

Went Dumba, I have been very high on him since WJC tryouts where he stood out incredibly to me and I wasn't even looking for him. Really like his game although I need to watch him some more, think he could be very elite one day though. Coyle I am still just a bit skeptical of, he tends to disappear for shifts at a time but is also completely dominant when he is on. I personally have him and Phillips pretty close, very big fan of Phillips.

Put in a vote for Zucker from me as I can't vote at the moment. I think he has tons of scoring upside

Larsson for me, i think he's vastly underrated (like koivu) i see him a key cog of our future.

It's not disregard, we just have some damn good players in the system. I honestly don't have a lot of separation from #3 to #8, but Bulmer would be on the lower end it. That doesn't mean I'm not excited to see what he can do in the league.

It is about who will be the better player, and I think that Bulmer has the potential to be the most successful on this list of players. In Bulmer's case = Meaning he will be the most successful at what he was drafted to do : Be a 3rd line agitator with some abilty to put up points to.

To me... a 3rd line agitator can only win a poll like this if you have no top 6 potential forwards and no top D pair potential defensemen.

Not saying I don't have high hopes for Bulmer... just have higher hopes for those with even more potential.
