I feel like he has looked excellent at each fight he's taken @135. That last fight with Cruz was razor thin & he demolished Bowles & wineland in the process also.

He could lose but it won't be because of diminishing skills, IMO. I got Faber reminding everyone why he is one of the best fighters on the planet!
He's 5-4 in his last 9 fights after having an extraordinary dominant run. If going .500 in the past 4 years isn't slowing down then I don't know what is.

He's also 3-1 in his last 4 fights after dropping down to 135.

Faber was definitely slowing down at 145. At 135 he's beaten two top ten fighters, so I don't think his career has slowed down since the move in weight. He doesn't deal well with movement so tomorrow should be interesting.

lol a guy on UG was complaining about the Calgary card. So Dana White comes into the thread...

(these are the relevant parts of a long thread)

dfw jr - RJJH, HOW MANY TIX DID YOU BUY AND FOR HOW MUCH?

RJJH - 4 tickets for $235 each.

dfw jr - AND YOU DON'T WANT TO GO TO THE FIGHT NOW? I WILL MEET YOU RIGHT NOW AND BUY THE TIX FROM U. WHERE ARE U?

dfw jr - THE DAY THE TIX SOLD OUT ALL WE HAD ANNOUNCED WAS ALDO. SO YOU ARE FULL OF **** THAT YOU WERE SOLD SOMETHING ELSE BUT IF YOU HATE THIS FIGHT THIS BAD THEN MEET ME RIGHT NOW.

RJJH - ulike you, I dont have a private jet, so I kind of have to fly to Calgary tomorrow.

Paradiso - Don't give him anything Dana. RJJH openly states he has streamed the last 50 UFC events.

RJJH- ya, and I have paid to attend 4 in the last 3 years.

dont tell me what's what pal. I am a fan. just an upset one.

dfw jr - show me a post of him saying he streams

RJJH- Dana,

seriously, what info do you need from me to get this done?

dfw jr - wait, he said he is honorable and honest. have you said you stream events RJJH?

RJJH - I am not a liar, I do stream events.

men admit what they do. unllike yourself.

now, where are we on that refund you keep changing the quota for??

dfw jr - cool then those tix you dont want to use are money you owe anyway. i would have done it. thanks for the heads up UG!!

RJJH- **** tuck from the MOTHER of all **** tuckers.

dfw jr - DID YOU NOT READ MY POST? YOU ADMIT TO STREAMING THEN **** U, THATS MONEY U OWE.

Is there a way to see all of Danas posts on the UG? I don't see a way to do that on his profile page.

Upset special.

This looks like a crap card, but there are actually a lot of interesting, competitive fights here.

For those that may have not seen Ryan Jimmo fight before, heed this warning- do not pick him to win, and use that time during his fight to wash your hair, go for a smoke, make a sandwich, use the bathroom, pick your nose, but by all means, do not torture yourself by watching this guy in the octagon.

I haven't seen too many of his fights but his last one against Sokoudjou was awful.

Main Card:
Interim Bantamweight
Championship Bout: Urijah Faber vs Renan Barao- I think Barao will be too much for Faber to handle.
Middleweight Bout: Hector Lombard vs Tim Boetsch- If Lombard can't finish Boetsch early there's a good chance he gasses, but I think Lombard will end up catching Boetsch with a hard shot some point in the first round and either score a TKO or a sub.
Heavyweight Bout: Cheick Kongo vs Shawn Jordan
Welterweight Bout: Brian Ebersole vs James Head
Welterweight Bout: Chris Clements vs Matt Riddle

Preliminary Card (FX):
Middleweight Bout: Court McGee vs Nick Ring
Bantamweight Bout: Roland Delorme vs Francisco Rivera
Light Heavyweight Bout: Ryan Jimmo vs Anthony Perosh
Bantamweight Bout: Bryan Caraway vs Mitch Gagnon

Preliminary Card (Facebook):
Featherweight Bout: Antonio Carvalho vs Daniel Pineda
Lightweight Bout: Mitch Clarke vs Anton Kuivanen

Did you watch the weigh-ins? I noticed the trailer park super in your avatar before, Boetch came out in a Steve French tshirt with a Canadian flag on the sleeve & Steve on the front!!

Priceless, if I didn't want to see silva/Lombard I'd be on the boetch wagon just for that!

Jimmo is going to anger you again tonight. I think he upsets periosh by keeping the distance & avoiding being taken down. He'll outpoint him in his usual manner.

All Jimmo needs is a coach who encourages him to be aggressive. He's a good fighter who plays it safe, as ling as he doesn't go to Jackson mma he should improve.
