No matter what happens with Weber, are the Flyers no longer trading for Bobby Ryan?

Meszaros will likely be moved if the Flyers get Weber. Problem solved.

The Niemi/Leighton 2010 Stanley Cup Finals say "hi".

Not saying he's not a question mark - he is - but Bryz was the best Flyer in the New Jersey series and is approximately 11,000 times better then Michael Leighton.

Voracek + Coburn is an extremely reasonable request from Anaheim.
Ryan's a goal scorer, Voracek is more of a playmaker so let's not just go by goals. Using the last 3 seasons, Voracek averages about 15 fewer points then Ryan in about 3 fewer minutes per game on the ice. Not a huge difference, certainly not a difference of Braydon Coburn.

a) Anaheim needing a center.
b) Anaheim being unlikely to take more salary back.

Except goals >> assists. So let's go by goals.

I went by points, not assists. Those are more important then goals, right?

That and TOI.

Philly can add & add but they still won't win there problem is not up front it's still in goal!

Will they ever get it right?

When points are the same (and they aren't), you then examine goals vs assists. By saying points = points, you are saying assists = goals.

In the last 3 years Voracek has 145 points. Ryan has 192.

In the last 3 years, Voracek has 48 goals. Ryan has 100.

Good luck finding someone who says the far better player isn't the one with twice the goals - those aren't 15 extra points per year, they are 15 extra GOALS per year. Voracek gets less TOI because he deserves less TOI.
