Maybe if he wasn't taking out one of OUR OWN top forwards in the series, we might have won, just saying. And Lavy probably hates that little gnat as well. Plays with disregard in his game all the time. Took a 9 minute penalty in the game against the Caps. Complete idiot.

Leighton blows and I'm completely on the fence about laviolette at this point, so he may have a point there too. I don't know when this city became so against hockey players being honest for a change.

One of THE most embarrassing divers the NHL has ever seen doesn't have any respect for the Flyers coach?

Move along...nothing to see here.

Don't see how this is bad. EVERYONE blames Leighton for that Cup loss, and Carbomb's definitely not the first player to have issues with Lavi, if those Richie rumors were true.

Bill Meltzer mentioned after they were swept by Boston that Lavi lost the team.

Part of Danny Carbombs' charm is that he's a meathead. I liked him better when he was our meathead...yapping and diving and generally trolling everyone.

Would make sense after changing goalies every half hour during the Buffalo series. But with that said, I'm glad Homer didn't do the typical GM move of firing the coach and keeping the team. He switched over the team, and thankfully we seem much better off.

Lost in the second round 2 years in a row. Yup, much better off.

Eh, we could have easily lost in the second round even with the exact same players and different coach.

Only reason I clicked on this thread. I can never get enough of the unadulterated Scottie Upshall fanboyism.

Upshall was ridiculously overrated by some fans, but that trade still blew chunks. Holmgren overpaid for an inferior player because he can't get enough of knuckledragger "fan favorites."

He is right about Leighton sucking, but we did put up a fight in that series. It was one hell of a series actually, just had a terrible ending.

The Lavi stuff is just bitterness, lol.

2010-2011: Almost upset in 6 by a 7 seed in first round.
2011-2012: Beat Cup favorites (division rivals Richards/Carter never were able to beat) handily in first round.

Yup, much better off.

Sorry I wish I knew how to post the actual video instead of just the link to the video!

Upshall is at least a more respectable player than Carcillo.

People like Talbot too, who is a very comparable player to Upshall IMO.

That's some incredible logic.

Going from 1st to 3rd in the division isn't better off.

Just because Danny is a mediocre NHLer with a tendency to do and say stupid things on the ice doesn't mean he's not right. About Leighton anyway.

I don't know exactly where the "no respect" stuff comes from, so it's hard to say he's right or wrong to think that.
