simply do not care. I am not a believer in Blum and think we should ship him out

Good for Blum. It looks like his attitude has shifted to where it needs to be. Let's hope conditioning and attitude were his biggest problems, and his first 23 NHL games weren't merely a flash in the pan. We need good defensemen to step up. If we can bring them in from the organization that's awesome.

Let's remember, though, that Wilson worked during the summer last year to get in better mental shape. It seemed to do wonders for him, but late in the season he got away from that. Hopefully they both come in with something to prove this year, but often times it takes more than a single off season to fix problems these young guys have.

Stick with it, Blum

I like his answers and do far he's showing with his actions that they aren't just words.

I said it last year, Blum worked so hard for so long to get to the NHL level that he appeared at the start of last year to have stopped working hard because he thought, "hey, I've made it". Unfortunately, that's not the way it works. Once you get to this level you have to recommit to working even harder to stay here as a young player.

This is a big make it or break it year for Blum. He'll either make the Preds roster or he'll be traded...

I'll echo my sentiments here as well. IF Blum gets back to his debut form, our lines are basically set.

Weber-Josi
Klein-Blum
Ellis-Gill
Eckholm/Bartley

Now I still advocate bringing in a vet dman for 1st line duties, but this shows we can survive defensively as is.

I've said this about 10 times, but I'll say it again. When we look back 10 years from now, Poile's best move last deadline will be not shipping Blum out when his value was low.

As a big Blum fan here who is a Bruins fan I hope that Thomas and Caron/Khokhlachev/Knight/Spooner are moved to bring him to Boston. Thomas' cap hit with no salary would really help offset the Weber situation and Boston's glut of forwards who are NHL ready but with no room in Boston should result in a trade for one of the kids in Nashville on the back end.

Maybe a trade between the two franchises can finally take place.

Change that to Dougie Hamilton and Tim Thomas and you've got yourself a deal...

You're a professional athlete and you come to camp out of shape? Absolutely no excuse.

HAHA, just because I cheer for Nashville doesn't mean I want to see Boston's best prospect there fighting to replace Suter! We need him more than anything right now. Him and Seguin are the future in Boston. Was hoping for more of a Blum - Hamilton pairing in Boston.

Cheers
