Mackinnon
Virtanen,Reinhart, Ho-Sang
Barzal McDavid

Crazy to think all these players could possibly one day be on the same World Junior team...how dominant would that be.

McDavid and Barzal put on a show today. Great young talent for Canada

#9 for Hall was great as well. I believe his name was Konecny

MacKinnon will more than likely go pro in his draft year. If he doesn't make the team this year, then he'll likely never play at the WJC's. But it would still be a highly skilled team without him as Canada's pipeline is going strong right now.

As others have said, McDavid and Barzal were the two dominant players in today's game. Some of McDavid's end-to-end rushes were just breathtaking, as was his penalty shot goals. Barzal looks like the real deal as well. He and Mitchell Stephens played very well off of each other, as Stephens looked good as well.

Daniel Sprong looked like an elite player. Great speed, a nose for the net. Will be interesting to see where he plays next year, as last year he won a U.S. National Championship with Wilkes Barre/Scranton.

Great hockey, great event, and a great crowd. Well done NHLPA. This is a definite highlight of the hockey calendar.

This game is so entertaining. What a ending it's shaping up to be. McDavid and Barzal are vying for 2014 I think hahaha

With the first two picks in the 2015 NHL draft the Edmonton Oilers are proud to select Connor Mcdavid and Mathew Barzal! Haha

McDavid's escaping ability down low and just the way he transitions and accelerates is unreal, Barzal seems to like to use his shot more but he has the incredible getaway speed as well and the whole game it seemed they wanted to match each other step for step. It makes it even more amazing because the players that were on the ice are no hunches either, these are part of the best bantam aged players in the country and they were just having the time of their lives out there

McDavid was amazing in this game. He's a surefire star. SO far ahead of his '97 peers.

Edmonton would be happy to have them both. Win the cup in two years, tank the next and draft high in 97's crop (i will keep dreaming)

McDavid was a joy to watch during the game. He was dangerous whenever he was on ice. Nice competition with Barzal who was a force.

Just so dominant. Reminds me a bit of Datsyuk and Nugent-Hopkins.

Those saucer passes.... Damnnn

I love how TSN somehow got a hold of his GTHL stats (mentioned in this clip at 0:36) but the OHL couldn't.

The exact number is 209 points in 88 games.

He reminds me of a faster Patrick Kane, have rarely seen anyone handle the puck like that at top speed. He is very Russian-esque reminded me of Yakupov but he may actually be closer to Pavel Bure style wise than Yak himself.

Just watched the All-State Canadians game, and WOW..Kid has incredible speed and hands. Seemed like he could blow by defenders at will, and had a great soft touch on his saucer passes. Not to mention the dekes...

Clearly ahead of his age group's learning curve.

This kid could be scary good, though. Wow was he fantastic today.

On a side note, I can see Tavares coaching one day. Face-wise, he totally looks the part.

I think it's his demeanour.

I think it had more to do with coaching against
