That's what I've called the weakness on this team for a long time--depth. Our starters last year were definitely a good enough unit to make the playoffs--but once guys started getting hurt, the lack of depth reared it's ugly head. Guys had to switch positions, some of the backups struggled, etc.
There were few areas we needed to improve our starters. Williams and Gilmore do that (and Glenn replacing Bell), although perhaps LB is still a bit weak. But we really needed depth on the lines, in the receiving corps, every position in defense...
Guys like Bradham and Carder for LB depth. I have no idea how they'll do, but if we get injuries we now have guys to plug in the holes.
When Wood went down our entire line went into flux. Maybe Asper helps there. Maybe having two quality subs (Hairston, Rinehart) with more experience will help this year.
Maybe having Vince Young will give the staff more confidence to sit Fitzy if he has a rib injury instead of him playing through it.
Depth was the biggest thing holding the Bills back. Every team is gonig to have key guys get hurt. The teams that make the playoffs are the ones that have the depth to overcome those injuries.
I'm not sure it is completely addressed, but it sure does look a lot better than past years.
No way do I see a Division Champ possible as Walker mentioned. I really am unsure they will beat NE again and if that game wasnt more of a Brady fluke.
What is that supposed to be? A Stadium for ants?! It needs to be at least three times bigger.
Read the article. It's 20 feet long and 3 feet deep. Width not stated, but I assume that bascially fills a single car garage.

The dedicated Bills fan began the project in January of 2008 and worked at it until completion. He would print hundreds of stadium charts and take photos of different parts of the stadium when he attended home games.
“I would walk through before the game and start taking different pictures of the stadium, different areas,” said Hall.
Robert found himself working on the replica mostly on Sundays after away games.
“I would listen to the radio after the game, and I was especially inspired to work on it after a win,” said Hall.
Ah, he worked most diligently on it after road wins - that explains why it took 4 years to complete.
I like Legos. If you have the space, pretty cool to build that or anything else novel on a decent scale.
btw, I predict 8-8, three wins better than last-years 5-11 prediction. Would love to be proved wrong in a good way, and by a similar # of wins vs. last years prediction.

It won't be a fluke if the Bills DL is as good as advertised. Division isn't possible without a sweep on New England (not going to happen)
For the Bills it is all about injuries. When their OL started to go down the season quickly fell apart. It became all too easy to pressure Fitzpatrick into making foolish throws or unbalanced. Their schedule it quite easy.... with the 2nd half being a dream schedule BUT Bills fans have to be realistic; even you think the Bills are better than the Dolphins and Jets don't think the Bills so 4-0 against them ( or they'll make the playoffs easy). The Bills will probably upset one of: New England, Houston, San Fran but they'll be 1-3 against them. The team has the ability to be as good as a 11 win team or as average as a 8 win team..... it's all about injuries and depth right now

Flip that **** around and you got a good prediction for this year, son! (I know that was for last year)

You joke, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Buffalo government did that
I went through the schedule, and wrote down my w/l's. When I was finished I had the Bills at 11-5. Last year I had them at 5-11. Their schedule is a lot easier this year. I'm hoping for a wild card birth.
I went 13-3 with the Bills in madden I've always been a Bills fan ever since i started watching football
The Bills are getting better, gradually, and if people can stay healthy/more consistent, they can be in the playoffs a lot. Making some additions here, improve other areas there, develop draftees, etc... They'll get there
It's on the front page. I use the same name there.
Good read, thanks for sharing. I've never been more than a casual fan of football, and I've never played it either, so all that strategy stuff is new to me. Your piece was both educational an easy to understand.

I can do that every year, shows you how unrealistic Madden is.
