I find the quality of the Euro games on average to be better than World Cup games. Higher level of competition in Euro cup due to very few weak teams really participating, unlike the World Cup where some nations from weak federations qualify and are push overs for the most part. Uefa is the strongest federations without question. The only nations from Conmebol that have made noise over the past 20 years have been Brazil and Argentina with perhaps Uruguay coming back to their old form of years past with the way they have been playing as of late. Uruguay won 2 World Cups and dissappeared after 1970 from being competitive only to emerge again as competitors in World Cup 2010. I hope Uruguay keep it up because i'm tired of CONMEBOL really only having Brazil and Argentina represent them.

I support Croatian football far and away more than American. They are my second team though.

And before you get all support what you are....I hold dual citizenship, and was raised watching Croatian Soccer. The 98' world cup will always be one the most special sports memories I have. Only time I ever saw my Dad take a day off was the watch this game with me while we played Croatian music during the half, and ate home made prosciutto sandwiches

This England-Sweden game has been great so far.... England takes a 1-0 into the half. Sweden gets 2 in the first 13 minutes of the 2nd. England answers back to tie it at 2. 25 minutes to go... Go England!

Not long ago it was a complete failure if England didn't get at least to the semi...Now they are struggling to get out of the group against quite mediocre Sweden squad.

I remember watching Welbeck scoring EXACTLY the same goal for ManU this past season. Very nicely done.

Has the tools, but his end product's been very inconsistent for us (United) this season. Pleased to see him scoring such a big goal for country.

Hate these meaningless exhibition games. They should play a game or two over here for the regular season instead just like the NHL goes to Europe the start the Season!

Lavezzi is in. Ibra and Thiago aren't on the roster.

Very nice footwork leading up to that PSG goal. However, awful defense by Chelsea.

1-0 PSG

Metrostars are on top of the East right now. Big win over philly on Saturday. Next game is up in montreal. Did anyone notice the red bulls jersey on the Boomer and Carton show this morning?
