Visnovsky for Ballard if Visnovsky wants out and he's stuck with NYI

IIRC NYR is quite deep at D, so I'll assume some of their young D or D prospects are going to Columbus, of course with something else. But will be interesting to see what it takes to get him after so many months of speculation.

If there's a team that could afford to give up a bunch of young assets, it's NYR. They could give up a package of Dubinsky, Stepan/Kreider, and MDZ/McDonagh for nash and still look good for the future.

If Sather gives up McDonagh he should be fired, that guy is gonna be great. Though if I was Howson I would be wary about getting MDZ considering he hasn't been signed yet.

That's how he used to be (or still is) registered with the NHLPA. They anglicized it later in their careers.

TEAM 1040 reporting a $1,000 fine and two days picking up garbage.
Not sure if he will be allowed to eat what he picks up.

Sather is actually usually pretty shrewd in trades; it's when he goes after UFA's that he goes 'off his rocker'....

Well on the bright side, this must mean Doan told NYR he wasn't going to sign with them

It wasn't a comment on Sathers trading in general. Just a comment on how good McDonagh is, in a few years I think he's gonna be NYRs best D-man, better than Staal and Girardi.

Apparently it's Nash for Dubinsky, Erixon, a 1st and one more unnamed asset.

If that unnames asset is nobody substantial (like Hagelin), NYR comes out WAY ahead.

Absolute robbery by the Rangers so far. That fourth piece better be good for Columbus' sake.
